Thank you for your feedback – we are constantly trying to improve each and every aspect of the care we provide. Our food provider is a specific care home food catering company that ensures all needed nutrients for residents are always available in the meals and we have a trained kitchen technician turning those nutritious ingredients into perfectly balanced meals for our residents, but we are always open to suggestions. When it comes to portion sizes, they are based on each resident's wishes, so we can definitely feedback this to our kitchen staff, but your mum can also feel free to ask for larger or smaller portions depending on the amount she wants. From food to activities to the care itself, we try to adapt everything the home offers to residents’ personal needs, simultaneously making them inclusive to all residents.

Maureen has worked in the care industry for 20 years in total. She started as a Care Assistant after being made redundant in her previous career. Maureen soon discovered that care was the career path she wanted to pursue, and started working for Wellburn Care Homes in 2002. She has since progressed through the company to management.
Job Title: Deputy Manager
Joined: 2005
Freda has worked within the care industry for fourteen years, the last thirteen of which she has spent at Garden House. She started at Garden House as a Care Assistant and Activities Coordinator. Freda has since progressed within Wellburn Care, first to a Team Leader position, before being promoted to Deputy Manager.
