Can only describe staff from top to bottom as excellent, their care and genuine concerns about residents is second to none and more like friends than staff. Always treat residents with dignity and respect. Top marks to them all.

There's a lovely welcoming feeling as you enter Station Court.

We have no problem with Station Court and all seems well with food and cleanliness. The home is warm and welcoming. The only problems we may have had are normally sorted out with no fuss.

I visit my uncle, who is on the dementia unit, every week. I always feel welcome and the staff are very good with the residents. There are always activities going on. Also, seen recently, residents having a one-to-one with carers, which residents loved. Station Court is always kept to a clean, high
standard.

From management through to domestic staff, everyone is very professional but in a caring way. The home, whilst being very airy and spotlessly clean, has a homely feel. The carers interact with residents. I have seen them dancing with my husband while he plays his music. They handle his difficult behaviour
very well indeed. My husband has been in Station Court for five months and I am more than happy with my choice.

My Mother in Law went into the home for a week of respite care. The staff were very welcoming and friendly as she was very nervous. They bent over backwards to make her feel comfortable e.g. helping set up a TV for her. She was very happy with her stay and said when she was leaving that she would be
happy to live there! Oh, and she won't stop raving about the food.

I highly recommend Station Court.
My Mum was in Station Court for 4 years before we had to take the difficult decision to move her to full-time nursing care. The care she received at Station Court was fantastic, she was treated with the utmost respect and dignity at all times. I was kept fully informed
of all aspects of her care.
The management and staff are amazing. They always knew where my Mum was - even though it is a relatively large home over 2 floors. My family and I have always been made to feel like we are part of the Station Court family. The staff always consider the needs of the residents, for example, when I was advised to move her to the upstairs specialist dementia facility of Memory Lane, I choose a room overlooking the garden, but it was pointed out that she would be better in a room which was the same position as downstairs so she was less confused when walking to the dining hall. I only hope my mum receives the same level of love at her new place.

My mother went into Station Court just before Christmas and has been consistently well cared for ever since. All the staff I have met are caring and professional. The home is clearly well managed with a friendly atmosphere whenever we visit.

This care home was fantastic, when my grandma was in they looked after her and on arrival, they would warmly welcome you and offer you a hot drink and a biscuit. When my grandma took bad and only had a few weeks left with us, the staff where fantastic, they never left my grandmas side and they helped
us all the way through to my grandma last day.

The care, attention and patience the staff show with the residents is outstanding. My aunt is clearly comfortable and well cared for. I am always contacted if there are any decisions to make or there any concerns.

Barchester Station Court Care Home provided excellent support and care for my father who was a resident there for three years. All members of staff are very caring, friendly and work well together as a team. In particular, during my father's final illness the staff went above and beyond in both in the
care provided to my father and the amazing support they gave to us all as family members. I highly recommend Barchester Station Court Care Home.

My mother has been a resident at Station Court for a few years. She has dementia and is happy and settled. Her condition meant she was unable to attend my daughter's wedding on 25th August. The staff were more than willing to let the bridal party attend on the way to the wedding so she could be on some
of the photos. She was dressed immaculately and very happy although she doesn't really know who we are now. This meant so much to me and my daughter. The recent CQC report does not reflect the standard of care given by the amazing staff. My sister and I would never even consider moving her from such a wonderful environment. Thank you all for making our day!

All the staff were extremely helpful and supportive when we made the difficult decision that mam could no longer live on her own.
The staff genuinely care for my mam and know her well, enabling them to act accordingly to her needs. They are quick to respond to any problems i.e calling out her Doctor
when necessary. The carers always inform me of any health issues with mam and explain the management of care given to her. It is very reassuring to know that mam is well cared for. The staff are really lovely with my mam and treat her with kindness and respect. I am able to go on holiday and know that I don't have to worry about mam. I visit regularly and I am always welcomed by friendly carers and other staff.

My mother was only here for a few weeks before she passed away but in the time she was there, I could not fault the home or the staff one little bit.
Mum could be a stubborn so and so and with her dementia was not happy to be put in there in the first place.
The staff's attitude, kindness and professionalism
eventually started to win Mum over and she was just starting to settle down when things took a downward turn. Anytime anything happened with Mum, i.e. a fall, the home quickly informed me but the call was always started off with reassurances especially if the call was not about a serious incident.
On the number of times we visited, the home was always clean, my mother was always clean and dressed. When you spoke to the staff they were always friendly and made time to speak to you and answer any questions you had.
The manager attended my mother's funeral which my family thought was a very nice mark of respect. From my experience, I would not hesitate to recommend this home to anyone.

What a wonderful place! The staff are amazing, hard working, caring, patient, competent and positive. I was concerned about leaving my husband outside the home environment as I had always been with him. However, at Barchester Station Court the staff looked after him wonderfully. We felt immediately
comfortable and safe. I witnessed how they often went above and beyond. They truly put "care" into care home.

Before starting in this position I was a general manager and peripatetic manager supporting care services in south Tyneside and Nottinghamshire, and have worked in care for over 20 years. I have worked and managed a range of services from learning disabilities, mental health, residential, nursing and dementia and challenging behaviour services
