My mother and her family have always been treated with care and respect. Any queries we have had have been promptly looked into. Staff are caring and respectful. There is a friendly cheerful atmosphere in the home.

Before starting in this position I was a general manager and peripatetic manager supporting care services in south Tyneside and Nottinghamshire, and have worked in care for over 20 years. I have worked and managed a range of services from learning disabilities, mental health, residential, nursing and dementia and challenging behaviour services

I am passionate about enhancing our resident's daily lives and delivering a person-centred life enrichment activity programme is very important to me to ensure that our residents continue to lead fulfilling lives doing things that they want to and enjoy. Our programme is varied from excursions out on the minibus ensuring our residents are connected to their local community, hosting events here in the home, virtual events and themed days – no day is the same!

Making sure that our residents have things to do that they really enjoy doing is something that I hold very close to my heart. It is so important to make sure that they are happy and enjoy all of the activities and events that we host for them.


A lot of our residents also enjoy our special trips out on our Minibus as we create new, special memories together.

Hi, my name is Dave and I am the Head Chef at Station Court Care Home.


I have worked in the hospitality sector for 30 years, completing my qualifications to be a chef in 1994 I have a wealth of experience as a head chef in both restaurants and care homes and look forward to being part of the team at Station Court.


I am passionate about food, especially creating show-stopping cakes and taking pride in producing the very best for our residents. My team cater for residents' individual dietary needs and ensures that our home-cooked menus with freshly prepared seasonal produce offer choice, nutrition and quality.
