I regard the care provided by Woodside Grange to be outstanding. I find the staff welcoming and very helpful to both client and relatives. The Manager is thoughtful, responsive and deeply compassionate. Her example sets a positive and caring model for the staff team. She goes out of her way to understand
complex behavioural issues that a client may present. She considers the client's particular personality and displays gentle empathy. She has outstanding interpersonal skills. She also takes the time and trouble to address individual likes and dislikes from foods to newspaper preference. These small niceties and attention to detail help the client to feel valued, nurtured and safe at Woodside Grange. Good professional relationships with the GP surgery ensure that any medical needs are identified and timely interventions sought. Unlike many Care Homes, I have never smelt the smell of stale urine at Woodside Grange. An excellent service delivered by a superb team. Cleanliness is excellent.

Woodside Grange was the residence of our Aunt who sadly passed away in the early hours of today. In the two and a half years she became a resident of this very caring home she has been treated to the utmost of care and dignity in this time. It is easy to say care and dignity, but in that time we have
visited and without making any intrusion we have seen the dedicated care of all the staff in this Care home given, not just to our Aunt but all the other residents who are being cared for by this home.
You should, as staff, be proud to be associated with this excellent home. Our thanks to you all for helping our Aunt live with dignity in her failing years.
