Brompton Lodge is a long-standing established family-owned residential home. Situated in the seaside town of Rhos On Sea, on the beautiful North Wales coast. The home is within walking distance of the local amenities and promenade. Brompton Lodge is also within easy reach of the popular seaside towns of Llandudno, Colwyn Bay and the historic walled town of Conwy situated on the outskirts of Snowdonia National Park.

The home prides itself on being a warm friendly place where residents can enjoy as independent a life as they can in the best environment possible. All residents are assessed on individual needs before admission ensuring appropriate levels of care are met.

Brompton Lodge has a committed team. Many of the staff have worked at the home for many years, creating a family atmosphere. Between them, the staff have a vast amount of experience and are all trained to a high standard with training courses taking place throughout the year. Most also hold a National Vocational Qualification in Care.

I live a long way from my Mother, so I rely on the Carers to look after her and tlc. She can no longer communicate her wishes but they know her so well that I feel her wishes are considered. They seem genuinely fond of her which is more than I could have hoped for. They cope with her dietary requirements
and do their best to keep her safe and comfortable. We couldn’t see her for a long time during lockdown but I didn’t fear that they weren’t doing their best even when the family couldn’t visit.

Mother has been supported since her discharge from hospital in October 2019 with great sensitivity and compassion. She arrived with a high level of need and the home was able to provide that and increase the support as required over the last 2 years. Mother has a lovely bright room that is kept clean
and tidy, the staff are cheerful and supportive. The common areas are always clean and bright and the atmosphere of the home is welcoming. Events, birthdays and public festivals, are marked and celebrated with residents made to feel important and valued. The residents have been kept safe all through the Covid epidemic and arrangements were made promptly for safe visiting my relatives as soon as allowed.
I would recommend Brompton Lodge, the management and the staff to any friends and family seeking a home for a relative or loved one.
