I visited my friend last week and received a lovely warm welome of the staff. The home was clean and tidy and the staff professional and friendly. Really had the home from home feeling. The garden on arrival looked beautifully kept.

I would like to reiterate my thanks to all the staff at Redcroft for the tender, loving care shown to my mother who was a resident at Redcroft for over four years. She passed away peacefully in January this year at the grand age of 101 years, in her own room, and in the presence of her carers who cared
for her. We, as a family, will be eternally grateful to you all for your kindness, dedication and love, shown to her and to myself at a very difficult time for us all. It was a great comfort to us her family, that she was always treated as a person and one of the family. We wish you all well for the future as you cope with the many challenges that you face during these still difficult and extraordinary times.

I wish to thank all the management and staff at Redcroft for the love and tender care that my late mother received during her 5-year stay here. Redcroft has a very homely environment as we as a family have always been made welcome on every visit. A huge thank you for being Mum’s close family through
a very difficult Covid year and for keeping her and other residents safe through the pandemic. We were always kept up to date with her wellbeing and have had many a video call with her, which kept us going throughout the difficult times. I also wish to express my thanks for allowing us to visit Mum daily as her health deteriorated and allowing us to assist with caring for her. All the staff went above and beyond to look after her as she deteriorated and made her very comfortable, but as her needs got greater she had to move to a Nursing Home. I really appreciate everything that you have did for Mum throughout the years. She loved everything about Redcroft! Thank you all!

My mother was recently at Redcroft on restpite after knee surgery, the staff were extremely welcoming and sympathetic to her needs and personal requirements. The home is very clean and homely and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Excellent home and cannot speak highly enough of all of the
staff and the owner who was available.

I have been living in this home for the last 8 months and it's the best thing I did. I am enjoying my retirement life. The food is brilliant and of course, the staff are beyond words. Although the covid is a nightmare, I can speak to my family via WhatsApp and Skype that the company has provided.

My mother has been treated with respect and compassion. The management and staff have been diligent in discovering what makes her comfortable and that her needs are met. When she's required medical assistance the relevant organisations have been contacted immediately and I have been kept aware of her

It was a huge decision for my mother in law to give up her home and move into residential care, but she very quickly settled in and never looked back. She always praised the standard of the food and enjoyed the banter of the staff. During her time at Redcroft, she was always treated with dignity, respect,
and above all kindness. She was one of the family. The management went above and beyond to ensure that all her needs were met while coping with Covid restrictions and regulations, and she was genuinely loved by all the staff. It may sound like a cliche, but the knowledge that she was always treated with tender, loving care, has been a huge comfort to us as a family in recent days. I cannot thank them enough.

After a phone call with my friend who has been a Redcoft sometime, I felt reassured that he had enjoyed a good Christmas, despite the covid restrictions, meaning no visits, he spoke of the care that the staff took to ensure he was well cared for and that he enjoyed the meals.

Absolutely amazing! My nanna has struggled the past 3 years since losing her husband in November 2017, every year around that time she goes downhill. This year I was looking after her and thankfully found Redcroft who offered her a place for respite for up to 4 weeks.
Nanna was ready, she needed the
break and she needed the company, so at the end of October she went there for respite; she now lives there permanently! She never went back to her house, just asked me to clear it out.
She is now so so happy and settled. I am forever grateful to the RI (Responsible Individual), the manager and the truly incredible staff at Redcroft, they just can't do enough for you and the residents, even in these difficult times!
I'm so happy and relieved to know that day and night Nanna is safe, happy, loved, fed, washed, and superbly looked after. The whole team have massively surpassed my expectations and Nanna's as she said she didn't want to go in a care home. But this is now where she calls home. I can't thank and praise everyone enough.

During these difficult times of COVID-19, I am certain that my Grandmother is in good hands. We are given frequent updates and have the odd video call to keep in touch. The staff are brilliant and have been very supportive towards my Grandmother, ensuring she’s healthy. I can’t thank them enough for

My mother in law was in Redcroft as her first care home. She really settled in with the staff and the other residents, always happy when we went to see her, loved playing bingo and other games. The owners were really helpful when the COVID started and we couldn't see her, they and their staff Skype
us so we could speak and see she was doing well. As she had to go into hospital we were unable to see her and she went downhill very quickly and was moved to a nursing home where she was not looked after! If it wasn't for the hospital insisting she had to go to a nursing home she would have still been at Redcroft happy and well. Redcroft have been in touch with us all the time and after her death. I can not thank them enough for what they did for my mother in law. If she had been able to go back to Redcroft she would still be alive today!

The manager and his team are very genuine and kind and have kept in regular contact with us during very worrying times. We get regular video calls, and we are happy in the knowledge that our relative is kept as safe as possible. This covid has put all care homes under massive pressure, and Redcroft
has remained covid-free, a testament to the whole team!

The openness and honesty by the management and staff are some of the key factors that influenced me to put a review. Struck by the kindness of the staff and willingness to go the extra mile, presenting a cheery atmosphere. My friend as gaining confidence in walking again thanks to staff encouragement. I cannot recommend Redcroft highly enough. The staff are cheerful, attentive and nothing is too much trouble. The owners are always available to talk to and are pleasant and helpful. The food is varied and meals are of a very good quality.
My mum has been a resident there for a couple of months
now and as a family, we cannot be happier that she has settled in so well.
There are activities and entertainment for the residents if they wish to join in and there is always an overall sense of being made to feel welcome.
