My Mother recently passed away after 9 months in this absolutely brilliant residential home aged 106 years. Being a very independent lady she had refused to go into a home and lived in her bungalow with carers and myself. She had been in the hospital and then into another home nearby which was not ideal
under any circumstances. After taking advice, I removed her and thankfully there was a vacancy in Belvedere. I cannot fault anything about this home and would just say that if all residential homes came up to the standards of this one the world would be a much better place for the elderly. The entire staff were always friendly and efficient and always pleased to see visitors. There were always smiles and a welcoming tea/coffee and biscuits. Thank you all.

My mother has been a resident at the home now for the last eighteen months, we visit her generally on a daily basis and are always made to feel very welcome at the home. As we are such frequent visitors we have a good feeling of how the home is run and we have been very impressed with the level of care
that my mother receives. She is encouraged to take part in the activities and particularly likes the singing at the home, and also when she is spoken to in Welsh. They conduct regular day trips out which I know she needed some pushing to take up, but now really likes these. When the family were looking for a placement for my mother, we visited a number of care homes and we are very happy with the choice that we made.
