With a range of beautiful communal areas including a conservatory, summer house, hair salon and garden, there's something for everyone at the friendly and purpose-built home. There is also a minibus to take residents on trips out for the day, supporting links with the Georgetown community.

I find the Daffodil staff very competent and caring towards those they look after. There has been no problems to access visiting my mother and the environment in which they live in is very relaxed and homely.
The food is very good and the accommodation is very comfortable. Each occupant has their
own room and there is a communal lounge and restaurant are where the personnel are able to gather each day for friendship and enjoy their meals together.

My mother moved to Daffodils in May 2012 and settled in almost immediately. The staff are marvellous and the home is always clean and tidy. Interaction between staff and residents is meaningful and caring, there is a choice of menu at meal times where nutritious home cooked food is provided. My mother
had a heart attack recently resulting in a rapid decline in health which now requires the need for an EMI nursing home placement which unfortunately cannot be provided at Daffodils. My mother had a happy time whilst at Daffodils and I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a caring environment for their loved one.

What does kindness mean to you?


“Making sure people are treated with respect and compassion, and having empathy for others.”


As a dedicated healthcare professional, Sara has gained many years of experience in providing care and support for older people to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest possible standards in care and quality of life for Residents.


Sara shares that HC-One’s vision is aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She uses her experience to motivate her team to deliver care and support in a way that Residents gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


When asked why she chose to work in the care sector, Sara remarked:


“It’s what I do best. I always wanted to assist people to have the best life they can, and I enjoy supporting people to achieve their outcomes and wishes.”


Outside of work, Sara enjoys spending time with her family and caravanning. Her HC-One name badge states ‘Caravan lover’, as she tries to get away for some downtime every weekend to her caravan, she really enjoys campsite life.
