My Mum has been a Resident at Morel Court for just over a year and in all that time to date, June 2020, her care has been exceptional. All the Staff and Managers go above and beyond with their care, with every attention to detail. In these difficult times with no visits permitted, phone and Skype meetings
are arranged to maintain contact with my Mum. I miss visiting my Mum deeply, but the staff ease this with these phone and Skype meetings and with the weekly maintaining of the "Hair Salon", my Mum always looks fabulous. My Morel Court Family are amazing - thank you!

I have experience of several care homes, and Morel Court is by far the best I have encountered. My Mother has been a resident since August 2018, and I have nothing but praise for all the staff who ensure her needs are catered for. It is always evident that the staff work as a team from the Manager
down, with everyone contributing to the welfare of the residents. This contributes to a real family atmosphere. Activities are organised which help keeps residents occupied and stimulated. When possible, small groups are taken out for a change in scenery, and to do something different.
In summary, I feel lucky that my Mother was able to have a room in this lovely caring Residential Home, and I have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

It's difficult to put into words how Morel Court has changed our lives, and the life of my mother in law, for the better. My husband can now sleep at night, knowing that his mother is safe and being cared for and that she isn't alone and vulnerable in her own home. Obviously it was a huge wrench for
her to leave her home but Morel Court is outstanding in not only caring for its residents but showing respect and allowing each person to retain their dignity and feel at home there. None of us knew how lockdown was going to affect Morel Court, but if anything, it's just got better! The residents look like they're having a great time and we've been able to stand in the car park and talk to my mother-in-law from a distance. There is NOTHING that is too much. The staff truly put their residents at the forefront and heart of everything they do. It's an amazing place, and we will always be grateful to them.

Morel Court is home to both my grandmothers. Pre lockdown, when we were allowed inside, the communal areas were always clean, the staff welcoming and obviously very attentive to the residents. They had a large range of outside volunteers, when permitted, to enhance the experience of the residents and
also arranged regular day trips for meals/cinema and other experiences that the residents have always wanted. The food is varied and there is a daily program of activities which has something for everyone. Morel Court benefits from a lovely garden too, which is landscaped with pleasant seating areas and is close to Penarth cliff tops, where again, under normal circumstances, we are able to go for walks. The staff on lockdown have consistently shown great care to the residents and also family members, sharing photos of the residents taking part in activities and enabling contact via telephone calls and video messaging while we are not able to visit.

Morel Court is a very welcoming place for both residents and visitors. Since becoming a volutneer I have visited the home on many occasions and have always been made to feel at home. The residents appear happy and very well cared for. There are numerous activities arranged for them and special occasions
and events are always celebrated. I enjoyed a very tasty lunch with a welsh flavour to celebrate St David's Day.

My mother was at Morel Court for twelve years. She was always very happy there. When her end came, she was nursed with exemplary care, warmth and tenderness. Her dignity was always preserved and her individuality respected. Members of staff were hugely supportive of our family during her final illness.

Excellent treatment from everyone. Have enjoyed all the meals and the activities are very good. Have settled in very well after being here only a few weeks. The home is very welcoming and the garden is lovely especially in the summer.

When I arrive I am greeted by the person in the office who is very polite, warm and happy. Noticed that the place was clean and had a fresh smell and had a lovely feeling of home.
During the first 10 minutes in the room where my friend resided, she had three visits from the staff (2 further after those
10 minutes) and both she and I given tea and biscuits.
Therefore, this home has left a very good impression on me. One of the staff visit after the 10 minutes to make my friend aware of an event. Good to see the activities.

Excellent reception, friendly, helpful, and positive. The home is warm and welcoming at all times. Splendid care if difficulties arise ie a fall. Interesting activities and outings for those that enjoy the stimulation. Great care at all times from all the staff.

We had a family wedding in St. David's. My mother-in-law, in spite of her disability, was able to attend due to the care and company of a member of staff. Family and friends were grateful for this outstanding service and provision. We are grateful also for all the day-to-day care provided at the home.

The quality of care provided by the staff is first-rate. Caring, compassionate and treating all with the dignity that people needing care deserve. Staff attended my father's funeral, several of them who did so on their day off and one who had left employment here a month previously. There are many absolute
gems of carers and staff here.

I recently paid a visit to Morel Court where my cousin had resided for approx 6 years until her death at the age of 104 where she received the most excellent care and dignity. It was a very difficult decision for her to give her home up and for me living 150 miles away. It was such a relief when after
a short time she told us it was home from home, and so on my return in July I found the same happy and caring attitude from the staff and happy and contented residents. Morel Court goes the extra mile for its residents.

I am very happy at Morel Court.
I have no complaints. The food is good and well cooked and varied quite well.

Recovering from 2 minor strokes, mum became a resident at Morel Court last year. Having been an active and independent lady, she found it very difficult to accept she needed assistance from others. Thanks to her firm but compassionate carers, they gained her trust.
Each time we visit, it feels like
entering a small family owned hotel. Always a wave and a smile from the busy staff. The residents appear relaxed, chatting in groups or happily involved with the many activities on offer.
The staff, without exception, go that extra mile to make the lives of their residents the best it can be.
Mum's speech was affected by the strokes, her first sentence to us was "I feel very comfortable and very safe here" what more can one ask?

It is difficult to fault this quite outstanding care home.
The 97 years old lady for whom I have Power of Attorney, has been resident for 4 years. She and I are very happy with the care provided from the manager downwards. Staff are cheerful, happy and obliging. Cleanliness, good food and exemplary
administration are outstanding, not to mention the value that the local volunteers add. It is reassuring too, that any ailment is spotted and treated immediately. I'd be happy to reside there in due course.

All staff are very caring. The home is always clean and fresh smelling. The gardens/grounds are beautifully kept. Rooms have recently been refurbished to a high standard. Menus are varied and interesting. Residents are encouraged to participate in a verity of activities. There is a good Christian ethos.
My mother is very happy and settled.
