Mum settled very well during May 2022. She has continued to thrive since then. She receives excellent care and support from the staff team. Mum enjoys the humour and friendliness of the staff. Mum is very complimentary about her one-to-one key worker. She very much enjoys the activities that are organised
and loves going out on trips. Food is plentiful and delicious.

Would not keep my dog in this place. Dirty, small rooms, staff smoking near rooms, smoke coming in open windows, other residents walking into rooms, noise level over the top. How do they justify a price of £1030 pounds per week? If this home was in Newport they would only charge £700 per week, why?

They (the staff) take a genuine interest in the residents. There is always someone well qualified on duty. They all seem very well informed. Interest and care is shown on individual health issues. I love the cheery manner of the staff (especially in the kitchen). Visitors are always offered a drink
or more. Very special moments like birthday cakes made with care!

I always get a warm and friendly greeting from the management when visiting. The staff are always on hand and readily there to answer questions. Mother is treated with respect and it's a comfort to know Mother is well looked after and safe from harm.

My mother's health and welfare is the home's first priority. I know that my mother is cared for by all the wonderful staff. Every effort is taken to make sure that every occasion is celebrated. Can't wait to see how the Queen's Jubilee will be marked. Thank you to all staff for your love and care.

My Dad is very well looked after all his needs are taken care of. He enjoys the food and they have good entertainment going on in the home which my Dad seems to love attending. The staff in the home go above and beyond in the way they carry out their care. Me and my family can rest easy knowing he is
well taken care of.

Lovely care home. First thing you notice when you walk through the doors is that it does not in any way smell of urine which I have noticed in other homes. The staff are all welcoming and friendly which is very nice. They decorate the lounge for Valentine's Day, St David's, which of course I could only
see from the outside with covid rules, but the windows looked fabulous.

The staff at this residential home are all very caring and are amazing with all the residents. My mother has been in there a while and whilst there they have looked after her with great care and attention. The staff interact with the residents and keep them entertained and during the summer months,
the residents are taken out on trips. The rooms are kept clean and tidy every day and my mother always looks clean and tidy with coordinating outfits.

My dad has been in the home since November 2018. I was quite apprehensive about him going in there but the care he receives is excellent. Dad always looks clean and shaved. They go on trips and have regular entertainment. He is happy and content. I would thoroughly recommend Arthur Jenkins to anyone.

My aunt has been in the Arthur Jenkins for two months. We came from Alberta Canada to visit her. The care she is receiving is second to none. The management and staff are loving and caring. They are quick to respond to any needs she may have and sending for the doctor when necessary. Our minds are much
relieved being so far away.

I would recommend the Arthur Jenkins very highly. The staff are fantastic. Not only do they care for my father but they treat us with very high regard. The food is second to none. The home is very clean and the atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and management.
