This is the best home I have ever visited. My sister is cared for with love and dignity. The food is excellent - an excellent cook. I have visited many homes in the past but nothing has compared to the Blaenavon home. Keep up the good work, it is much appreciated.

Whenever we visit we receive a warm welcome from the staff and they always know where mum can be found e.g in the lounge, her own room, having her hair done etc. The atmosphere is calm, happy and relaxed. The weekly activity programme is very full, varied, designed to entertain and stimulate the residents,
exercise class, evening Bingo, visits from music groups, entertainers, and the local nursery children. Every festival, bank holidays and season is used as an opportunity to celebrate and have fun. We know that mum is safe and well looked after, care for in a way we cannot do ourselves. We feel that mum is receiving the very best care.

I have had the pleasure of visiting residents at this care home for many years. The staff are always friendly, helpful and extremely attentive to the needs of the residents and their guests. The care home is continually maintained to a very high standard in all aspects from the cleanliness to the high-quality
entertainment provided for the resident's enjoyment and wellbeing.

Earlier this year I had to quickly find a care home for my father aged 95. Arthur Jenkins care home was recommended to me by a friend and I feel very lucky that my father is now happily settled there. It is always very warm, light and clean with a friendly welcoming atmosphere. There have been so many
activities this month including a meal with entertainment for residents and their families and regular visits from playschool children.

Mum has been at Arthur Jenkins for several years and is happy there. The staff always interact with the residents take an interest in them personally. Mum is always clean and well turned out a hairdresser attends the home on a regular basis.
The food is varied and is of an excellent standard, family
and friends were invited to their Xmas dinner with residents.
An excellent evening with good entertainment.

I am very pleased with the care my mother receives.
The staff are approachable, friendly and treat the residents with dignity and respect. The manager has an open door policy and any issues are dealt with.
They have a great entertainment programme which the residents clearly enjoy. The annual Christmas
Dinner is a huge success it means we can all have a Christmas dinner with my mother we can all be a family again together. When my mother has not been well doctors are called and I know they have her well being at heart.

While the rooms and buildings may be a little old and tired the staff and their care of the residents is first class. They all know the residents individually and therefore look after their needs.
I can only highly recommend this care home. It feels like one large family.

We feared that one of my church members was on deaths door, hopeless weak and infirm. She has had two weeks in this care home and her life has been transformed. A revived spirit and renewed confidence. The staff are wonderful. Seeing her radical improvement in health and wellbeing has made my Christmas!
