Willow Hall provides 24-hour care for older people who require residential care. The home offers 24-hour care and has 24 rooms.

Willow Hall prides itself on offering a highly professional care service for older people and can accommodate persons with mild to moderate Dementia using a person-centred approach that focuses on seeing the individual rather than their dementia.

Willow Hall is pleased to provide care for people for long term, short term and respite stays. When people have worked hard throughout their life and have been committed to helping others, the team at Willow Hall thinks they deserve extra cherishing. They need a home where individuality is emphasised, with staff that have time to give attention to the small details, and where their choices and beliefs are respected.

The home does not provide nursing care; however, they will provide palliative care if this is the wish of the resident/family. The home accepts both male and female residents, and their stay can be for long or short term as well as day-care.

My grandmother was a resident of Willow Hall, they made her feel welcomed there. The staff was very pleasant and happy to help when she needed anything the food rating was excellent and looked nice. Also plenty of activities going on for them. And the care itself was very good would recommend Willow
Hall.

The care my dad receives at Willow Hall is 100%, the staff understand Dad's needs and provides the care as he wants, he is safe, well-fed, warm, comfortable, and gets to sing when there is entertainment there. He is so happy with the staff and management popping in often for a chat, if Dad is not well
they get somebody in straight away to deal with his illness (doctor or district nurses) we as a family are treated respectably and genuine fondness.
My dad would not be here today if it wasn't for the exceptional care he receives from Willow Hall.

I could not recommend Willow Hall enough! My nan had been living in Willow Hall for over a year and she had the best time there, they made her feel at home letting her help with cleaning, and washing dishes where at the end she thought she was the boss there! They made her feel comfortable, happy and
that she had a purpose. The relationship she had with the staff was wonderful to see and could clearly see that she meant a lot to the staff! Sadly we lost Nan in February and it was a very hard week for all of us as a family. I literally could not believe the support we had from the staff that week! They supplied us with food, drinks and always checked on us! On the night my nan died the staff stayed well past their shifts hours as they wanted to say their goodbyes. If you were like my family really nervous about putting a member of your family in a home, Willow Hall made our decision so much easier and wouldn't have changed anything. Thank you all at Willow Hall.

Williow Hall is a fantastic and friendly care home. When it was time for Mum to go to a care home I didn't trust anybody, but Williow hall made her year fantastic having plenty of laughs and concerts and most importantly the care and love she was given. Unfortunately, my mum passed away in March this
year, the care of my mum and her family was overwhelming and fantastic. I still keep in touch with the staff they are my new best friends. Would recommend Williow Hall to anyone.

Current Review Score: 9.1 (9.144)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.1 (9.144) out of 10 for Willow Hall Residential Care Home Ltd is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 4 Reviews in the last 24 months.

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.2 out of 5 from 4 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.936 for Willow Hall Residential Care Home Ltd is calculated as follows: ( (44 Excellents x 5) + (3 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 47 Ratings = 4.936

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

The 4.208 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Willow Hall Residential Care Home Ltd is based on 4 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    • i) 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.375

    • ii) 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 24 registered maximum number of service users is 4.8. 4 Positive Reviews ÷ 4.8 = 0.833

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
