Regarding activities, we have recently hired a new activities coordinator who has some exciting plans for the future and we're actively working on introducing more initiatives to keep our residents engaged and entertained. Most activities take place during the day, as we find this is when our residents are most highly engaged.
As for your dad's diabetic diet, our team will reach out to you to re-address any concerns and make the necessary improvements. There were some issues with the measuring and supply of the support stockings however this has been resolved and we are awaiting their arrival from the suppliers. The table has been replaced and a more suitable one is now available for your husband’s comfort. Job Title: Care Home Manager
At Forthland Lodge, I am passionate about providing a comfortable environment that is a happy place to both live and work.
In 1991, I qualified as a mental health nurse and worked in both the NHS and private care for over 20 years until I joined Meallmore in 2012. Throughout this time, I have gained significant insight into the care needs of the elderly and I am dedicated to providing the best quality care to our residents.
Our care home staff work hard to build relationships with residents, developing an understanding of what is best for each individual in our home and what hobbies and activities they enjoy.
Our weekly breakfast club and regular coffee mornings are a great opportunity for residents to socialise with one another and take part in activities within the local community. The conservatory and garden also serve as the ideal space to enjoy some quiet relaxation.
I endeavour to have everyone feel welcome when they come to Forthland Lodge and our staff go the extra mile to ensure that everyone’s needs are met.
