My dad was admitted here after being in hospital. He was in the latter stages of Lewy Body. I cannot fault the care and compassion shown to Dad and us, his family. We were constantly kept up to date on his condition, and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Towards the end, Dad was kept comfortable
and clean, and we were cared for as much as Dad was. I'd like to thank the team for everything they did for Dad.

The staff at Palmerston Residential are second to none. They go above and beyond for all the residents, not just my mum-in-law. My mum-in-law was diagnosed with vascular dementia and was in a different care home for about a year just before covid hit and as a family we could see her declining in both
physical and mental health. Thankfully we were able to get a place for her at Palmerston and she is doing great there, she is like a different person. The staff are so attentive to each residents different needs and understand that my mum-in-law has days where she can be uncooperative but they know how to win her round! Recently they had a BBQ and a great afternoon was had by all. My mum-in-law was singing and tapping her feet along to the music, which was great to see. Some of the staff actually came in on their day off to help out. So thank you Palmerston staff for making our lives a bit easier knowing our relative is being well looked after.

My husband, who has Alzheimer’s, has been a resident in Palmerston Care Home since November 2021. I can honestly say the staff have been amazing. They are caring approachable and kind. He has been very settled there and so well looked after. They treat both him and me as family and care about me too.
So glad there was a room available when I was in real need.
