Very welcoming staff want the best for the residents. They are always so kind and accommodating to my father and have taken good care of him. I feel pleased that he is being taken such good care of. Thank you to all the staff, not forgetting the chefs!

My mother suffers from advancing Alzheimers and became a resident of Aspen Court on 23rd June 16 after four weeks in hospital as she was refusing all food and drinks. As a family, we were extremely worried and were uncertain if she would recover and feared the worst. The kindness and diligence of the
staff in encouraging her to eat again and settling her in has been wonderful and she has, despite her dementia, seemed to be enjoying her life again. We are very grateful to all the staff.

Looking after mum for over 20 years made this a really hard decision to make, I never thought anyone would be able to care for her like us. Mum never wanted to go into a home as we were all so close but we just couldn't meet her needs anymore. We visited a few care homes but none were like the warm
and friendly reception we got from aspen court they are like one big family mum absolutely loves it there, they go out of their way to make sure she is happy and cared for in every way they can. She is happier now than I have seen her in ages it is such a treat to visit her. Mums got a lovely room overlooking the gardens, cant wait to see it come summer. Mum loves the food, shes not a big eater but they get her whatever she wants. I am so happy now I have no worries with mum's care, she is being looked after in what I feel is the best nursing home we found. As long as mums happy that's the most important thing to me and I have got Aspen Court nursing home and all the staff to thank for that.

Mum has been at Aspen Court for 14 months, she is very happy and contented and her health and well being have really improved. The food is good with a good choice, no one would go hungry. The staff all lovely, all are very kind and helpful to mum and also to us, her family. Anything you need to know
is always sorted, they have a new manager, who is always very helpful, the office staff are good, in fact all the staff are really excellent. We are so pleased that we found Aspen Court.

My mother has been in Aspen Court since October, I wasn't sure about the home when looking at reviews but since bringing mum I couldn't be happier. My mum has settled in so well, the staff are great and friendly, the unit manager has made me feel so happy always reassuring me and always updates me.
Everyone else on the floor are lovely and I feel my mum is safe and I do not have to worry. Thank you Aspen Court for caring for my mum.

My mother resides at Aspen Court Care Home and we've been extremely happy with the due care and attention she receives. It was extremely hard to let her lose her independence but as the alzheimer's set in the family wanted her to receive all the best care and attention needed to fulfil her day to day
living in a comfortable, loving environment.
It's comforting to know that she receives all of this at Aspen Court and we all appreciate the service provided for her.

I was advised by the hospital that my mum was no longer able to live alone she has dementia plus had a fall and broke her hip. I knew this day would come but it came sooner than I expected although she's had dementia for 3 years now. We had lots of things in place in her home but I started looking
at care homes. Unfortunately there wasn't any room available at the first one I chose. I was advised by the hospital to take a look at Aspen Court Care Home in Poplar. I went with an open mind but was extremely honest when I got there and said how I felt. I saw a lovely lady in the office and met the manager and they understood my concerns. I was shown around and invited back with my mum for an afternoon. I was so impressed with everyone there. They are so kind and caring and everyone is like a big family. I felt so happy and at home there as if I known them all for a long time. My mum came from hospital and went into a lovely room which was made very much like her own with her pictures, photos and ornaments. She been there now for about six weeks and she's settled in very well. Everyone is so happy and jolly all the time and always have time to talk to me and my family. The meals are very good and the care is brilliant which makes me so happy that I made the effort to go and visit. I cannot fault anyone there at all. I made the right choice for my mum I know I have and have no doubt at all for her being looked after well.

I recommend this care home as a 5 star care home, the staff do an excellent job, the rooms are kept very clean. There is always very helpful staff in attendance and they enjoy their work, my mother in law has been here for five years. There is never any aromas of toilets in the room. I cannot praise
the staff any higher. The staff deserve this praise as I think they have a great respect for all patients. Well done.

Since my mother entered Aspen Court I have been very impressed with the care and kindness to assist her in settling in. The staff are very considerate towards the family when visiting and we are always made welcome. Mum has benefited from coming to Aspen Court and we are happy that she is looked after
