Westcombe Park is a modern care home situated in a pleasant leafy neighbourhood of south-east London. Here, they warmly welcome residents in need of nursing or residential care. They also provide respite and convalescence care.

Every bedroom has been thoughtfully decorated to create a warm and homely atmosphere. Most of the bedrooms are en suite. It can also accommodate couples with double rooms.

The home is close to local transport links, is a few minutes’ drive from the A2 and benefits from a bus route stopping directly outside the home, making visiting for family and friends easier. The care home is also only a few minutes’ walk to local amenities, shops and the local bank.

At Westcombe Park, staff take great care to focus on the person. It’s important for residents to feel at home, so it creates a friendly environment with an individually appropriate balance of care and independence.

Enjoying food is an important part of life. The chefs create well-crafted menus made with the freshest ingredients and try to cater for all ethnicity groups. Soon after a resident arrives at the home, staff discuss their personal preferences and dietary needs with them.

I love Westcombe Park. My mum arrived in May 2022 and at 92 is doing extremely well.
I was initially concerned because Mum was transferred from another care facility which wasn't quite meeting her needs anymore.
She arrived in a wheelchair and straightaway I had a great feeling. She is always praising
the staff, including the manager and her team, who have taken the time to know and understand Mum.
She gets her hair done and seems extremely content, happy and relaxed.
She likes to participate in the games and activities which are fun and run very well.
We love joining the wonderful events and activities too.
5 stars for sure.

Mum went to the care home in November 2022, being bedbound she is totally dependent on the carers for everything and she has nothing but praise for the staff and the care that they provide. Where possible they try to include her in as many of their activities as possible and she loves the music nights.
I’m always made welcome on my visit’s and there is always someone around to answer any questions that arise.

My Mother moved into Westcombe Park Care Home just before Christmas. The Manager was professional and friendly and went above and beyond to admit my Mother on the 23rd of December. All the staff have been warm and friendly and have supported my Mum and the family over a difficult few months. Mum is
happy, well cared for and has enjoyed going to the Residents Lounge for activities. The ladies who sort the entertainment program are warm and friendly to Residents and Relatives alike. I have joined Mum for a Rock and Roll afternoon and a visit from The Owl Sanctuary. Mum enjoys the music morning every Wednesday. We are both looking forward to Elvis the Entertainer visiting in the near future. The home has 45 Residents and retains a small family atmosphere.

I would like to thank all the staff that cared for my mum. They all gave my mum respect and went above and beyond to help her. There was nothing they wouldn't do. Everything we asked for was done within hours. They all greeted us with open arms and a warm smile.

The staff who attended my mother in her final days were exemplary. They were so kind, caring, and sensitive both to my mother's needs and to us her family. The care home manager was extremely supportive throughout my mother's stay, and when managing her transfer to and from Hospital, and ultimately
her palliative care. I would particularly like to mention and praise the nursing and support staff.

Amazing experience for my grandad, who came to stay for his final days. The staff were so kind, respectful and generous, even on his last birthday, brought him a little gift and a cake and sang him a happy birthday! My mother was looked after by the whole team at Westcombe Park Care Home with integrity, care and love. Sadly, Mum passed away after nearly a year at the nursing home. Each member of staff was proficient in their manner and attitude as to the care they provided. As a son of an Asian Indian background,
I initially thought that it might be difficult for the nursing home to meet Mum's beliefs and cultural way, however, I was completely wrong. The staff provided all the needs of my mum with respect and dignity. There are a few members of staff I will keep in touch with for a very long time as they became close friends and peers to my family.
Thank you all at Westcombe Park for looking after Mum.

Excellent experience from day one to when my mother was transferred to the care home. Her care throughout her stay was caring and thorough. The staff are friendly and empathetic to the needs of my mum. Would recommend this care home to anyone.

My mother moved into Westcombe Park Care Home in November 2021 and sadly passed away in August 2022. Throughout her stay, the care and professionalism were exceptional right from helping her to settle in - to encourage her to eat well and engage in activities around her. I believe that she was as happy
and comfortable as she was able to be at the end of her life. Her end was peaceful, and due to the prompt action of the staff, I was able to spend time with her and make sure she was not alone.

I was at Westcombe Park Care Home for convalescence following a hip replacement. The carers here are amazing. There is nothing too little or big for them to do for you. They are so caring and kind. I'd like to mention, in particular, the health care assistant and the young girl who gave me a shower.
A special thanks to two staff members who both go above and beyond and made my stay better than it might have been.

My mum has truly been cared for. I live in Canada and have spent the last month here in England visiting mum. I am so happy to see her so well looked after. The staff are helpful and kind. Using Westcombe Park Care Home was the right choice.

My uncle was a resident for a short while for nursing care. The manager and staff treated my uncle with the utmost care, respect and dignity. His room was kept to a high standard. His last days will be remembered as being cheerful and well looked after. I cannot speak more highly of Westcombe Park Care
Home and would recommend it to anyone requiring nursing or residential care. Top class home from home. Thank you to all the team!

I stayed in an ensuite ground floor room with a lovely view of the gardens. The room was quiet and I had a good night's sleep. So grateful for all the care and kindness received from all the staff, really helped me on the way to my recovery from my operation. The management and staff went out of their
way to look after me.

My sister was admitted to the home a year ago as she was in need of 24-hour care. Another relative of mine was in the home at this time and had been so well looked after I knew my sister would be in good hands. I always find the staff friendly and helpful.
The visiting arrangements are very efficient
with testing and protective clothing to ensure safety when seeing our loved ones.

I visit my mother on a regular basis. I am made very welcome when I arrive at the home and they get to know you. They have procedures in place to ensure that we do not bring Covid into the home and these are dealt with in a practical and friendly manner and has meant that the home has stayed clear and
the residents have been kept safe.
The staff are very friendly with the residents and take very good care of them. They look after their physical needs, medical needs and general well-being. The staff are very easy to talk to with any concerns you have and are more than happy to explain what is happening.
They are like a second family to my mother.

Having a parent you love so dearly, it breaks your heart when you're left with no option but a nursing home.
However Westcombe Park Care Home has been outstanding and the right choice for our mother and family. The nursing home has provided excellent care for my mother, regular communication, especially
during this difficult time (Covid) and the staff who are always willing to go the extra mile.
