We are delighted to hear that The Pines has been a good place for your mother to make her recovery after surgery and that you have found the care and support here to be excellent. The health and wellbeing of all our residents is our absolute priority and we work with every resident and their families to ensure they get the care and attention they need.
Our home manager’s door is always open and we urge residents, relatives and other visitors to talk to us if they have any problems or queries during their stay so that they can be quickly resolved.

Thank you for taking the time to review The Pines. We take great pride in ensuring we deliver high-quality care and facilities and appreciate your feedback.
Our home manager has been in touch with the reviewer to address her concerns and assured her that we are able to re-decorate the room in keeping with our residents' wishes. We have systems in place to ensure residents are not waiting a long time for assistance and constantly review our performance and seek feedback from all of our residents and families to ensure we are providing excellent standards of care.

As the Home Manager at The Pines Care Home, I lead a professional team in providing the highest standards of residential and nursing care for up to 40 residents.
I began my nursing career in South Africa where I trained in a large university training hospital. It was a fantastic experience that helped me develop the skills and experience that formed the foundation of my nursing career. Ten years ago, I relocated to the United Kingdom where I worked as a nurse and then as a Nursing Home Manager.
I have a wide range of experience across multiple areas including: Apheresis, Midwifery, Mental Health and Community nursing. Care of the elderly has always been a field of care I enjoy and have gravitated towards, a natural fit for me.
I love getting to know each of our residents, their stories and experiences, and I feel a great sense of satisfaction when I know our team has done everything possible and have managed to make a positive difference in enhancing our resident’s wellbeing.
The team at The Pines is dynamic and diverse and we all strive to provide the best care. Every team member is valued, and we support each other in everything we do. We are open, honest, and respectful and we treat our residents with dignity.
