My father has been there for a few years now. Staff are friendly and understanding of his needs. Have always had great communication regarding events, relative meetings and information on his general health. Any requests I have made have been met.

Service at the home is satisfactory to good as usual. Only one ongoing problem remains in the room toilet, which is the actual toilet lid keeps falling down and won't stay up. This has been a problem for a long while and needs fixing.

For six months, my loved one was in St Vincents care home. Whilst he has dementia (onset), he was also end of life patient. It has been an experience and privilege for me to spend so much time at the care home. The medical staff/carers (really all staff) there showed me what it means, always remembering
it's the illness that's the issue - not the man or woman in front of them. The caring, professional, kind, thoughtful staff here doing demanding, even exhausting work. Their unconditional love, their tender approach with patience, entering into their world and never giving up. The lovely cup of tea by humorous staff, their smiles would help me cope when end of life came two weeks ago. The professionalism, caring, thoughtful, considerate carers made my journey simpler. Thanks to all at St Vincents House care home.

My mother was admitted for short-term respite care and immediately there are issues with unfriendly management. They call the police unnecessarily. The Resident was not given any right to just cancel service and leave. Mobile phone lost and can’t be found, yet not even added to the inventory list.

My partner has been at St Vincents for approximately three years. When she was at the hospital, the team looking after asked me to check out St Vincents for suitability. I liked the home. She was transferred there shortly after. I'm very happy with the care home. The right choice was made.

Having not visited my sister for 18-months (pandemic related), my wife and I arrived at St Vincents with more than a little trepidation, after the many horror stories out there in this new world of social media. We shouldn’t have worried. The check-in process was simple, well managed and efficient.
My sister was as well as we could have expected. Her room was clean and tidy, but her hoarding instincts were still evident! Nonetheless, her room was bright and cheerful with a fine view over a garden and skyline.
What really struck me was how friendly, professional and full of cheer every member of staff was that we met. Clearly, this is not an easy job by any stretch of the imagination, but even if they were under stress, pressure or overworked, they didn’t show it. My sister, like many residents, struggle with confinement, loss of freedom and social interaction. It seemed like St Vincents staff were doing their best to make life a little more pleasant and tolerable.

We had a lovely tea for Mum today, and the staff made it an extra special time by dressing for the occasion, singing along to some of Mum's favourite songs, arranging for a cream tea and just making her time, a lovely memory. Mum was treated like the Queen she is and was even bought a crown by one of
the carers. Carers here never fail to make her (my mummy) feel loved. Thank you.

The location of St Vincents is close to Mum's previous address. The building itself was put together in such a special construction. The layout - internally has been well thought out with all spaced used very well. St Vincents security is undoubtedly paramount sufficient being constructing in any way.
Every staff member is immaculately turned out in appearance. The summer garden party I tended was a very special afternoon, I will remember always. Thank you.

My uncle, who sadly passed away the end of December 2020 aged 85, had the luxury of spending his last three months at St Vincents House. He was a very private man and had lived in the Hammersmith area for 38-years in a room in a house he shared. His health declined quite considerably middle part of
2020, and he was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia, a rapid declining type of dementia. It was obvious, he could not return home, so he was accepted at St Vincents. From the very first moment he was admitted, both the admin team and the nursing team kept myself and my mother informed daily whilst he settled in. My uncle was a very difficult person to look after due to his condition, and so the nursing team provided ongoing updates as to his progress, almost on a daily basis. I cannot praise the staff enough for how they attended to his needs during this time and involved the visiting GP in our updates. I would not hesitate to recommend this home at all for any family member.

The management and staff at St Vincents were very friendly, caring and professional while my aunt was under their care. The looked after her extremely well at a difficult time with the covid-19 restrictions. We had regular contact with her, and in her final days, personal visits. We were well informed
by the nursing staff of her wellbeing. We are happy as a family her final months were at St Vincents with lovely, caring people.

The staff are very friendly, caring and my mum spent nearly 2 years in this care home.
My mum passed today 23/9/20. Staff were brilliant, couldn't do enough for us and allowed us enough time to say our goodbyes.
Would recommend this care home to anyone.

This was a short stay (one week) while I had some hospital treatment. Although it was short notice the staff responded with consideration and efficiency. During the time my wife was there the home was in lockdown so I cannot comment specifically about the facilities, however, the staff and management
were excellent. My wife was well cared for and I am pleased I found a place for her in this home.

My mother has now been resident at St Vincent's for three months. My brothers and I are very happy with the care she is receiving. The staff are, of course, attentive and professional, however, the most important thing is that they are so kind, patient and caring.
It is a huge relief to the whole

Job Title: Home Manager

I'm very proud that I started my career as a Nurse at St Vincent's House and have worked my way to Deputy Manager and now Home Manager.


Care UK is excellent at seeing the potential in colleagues and supporting them to develop their skills and expertise.


The team at St Vincent's House is very close-knit and hardworking. We support each other to do our best for residents and their families. There's always a lot to juggle each day. In my role I tackle anything from recruiting new team members to supporting colleagues with training, getting to grips with new policies and procedures, and liaising with relatives.


What I do is only possible with the support of our amazing team. They never cease to surprise me with their dedication and passion for what they do.
