Fees are subject to a pre-admission needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level
of care and support required by each individual. Premium rooms normally require an additional charge.
Nursing fees include the Funded Nursing Contribution (FNC) if you are eligible.

other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

We are currently recruiting for a new home manager at St Vincent’s House, but I would like to assure you that there is always a fully trained and qualified support manager in place at the home whilst we find the right person for the role permanently. We are very proud of the team at St Vincent’s House, all of whom are fully qualified for their individual jobs and undergo ongoing training and assessment in order to continue to deliver excellent care every day to residents, including to those living with dementia. We will keep residents, their family members and friends, up-to-date with the home manager recruitment for the home and hope to be able to introduce a new home manager in the near future to you all – however, please do let us know at any time if you have any comments or suggestions and we will be happy to help.

Thank you for taking the time to review St Vincent’s House, and for your kind words and excellent scores, particularly for the team in the home. I am sorry to hear your feedback on the food in the home and this is an area we are currently working hard on, so we hope you have already started to see improvements. We have, for example, introduced a snack tray that goes around the home every morning and in the afternoon we have cakes on each floor too for residents to enjoy. We are training our chef team in the home to improve the appearance of meals that are served, and will shortly be introducing homemade fruit smoothies with delicious recipes that will change daily. If there are any meals, snacks or drinks that you and your mother would like to see added to the menu, then, of course, please do let us know and we’ll do our best to add these. Job Title: Home Manager
I'm very proud that I started my career as a Nurse at St Vincent's House and have worked my way to Deputy Manager and now Home Manager.
Care UK is excellent at seeing the potential in colleagues and supporting them to develop their skills and expertise.
The team at St Vincent's House is very close-knit and hardworking. We support each other to do our best for residents and their families. There's always a lot to juggle each day. In my role I tackle anything from recruiting new team members to supporting colleagues with training, getting to grips with new policies and procedures, and liaising with relatives.
What I do is only possible with the support of our amazing team. They never cease to surprise me with their dedication and passion for what they do.
