I have been resident at Brinsworth House since November 2017 and have found it quite difficult adjusting to a new way of life. I have been fully engaged with all the people in my life and I have cared deeply to be able to help them in some way. The manager, matron and sister are a dream to work with.

Brinsworth House is a care home with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The building is spacious, very clean, bright and airy. It has various public spaces including a TV lounge/cinema, residents lounge, small stage, annexe and secluded back garden. The open plan kitchen serves delicious food to a very
high standard. The "Theatre style" bar is a gem with dozens of photographs of the famous from stage and screen.
Regular activities and live shows are arranged for the residents.
The staff are very professional and caring.

The Care Home makes every effort to accomodate the service users different needs and wishes.
Staff are compassionate and concerned to provide a high level of care also showing interest in the users and endeavouring to provide stimulating relevant activities that draw upon the users professional theatrical
experience and special areas of interest.
Brinsworth House has a great history and the building reflects the many theatrical stars that have supported the Royal Variety Charity.
I have no hesitation in recommending Brinsworth House as a residential home.

Brinsworth House is a beautiful, old building with modern extensions set in its own grounds and includes a medium sized garden. The house is run extremely well, the garden is very pleasant, well tended and big enough for the residents to have barbeques and activities etc., during the summer. The carers,
nurses, matrons and general staff are dedicated, very supportive, caring, kind, good humoured and hard working. The chefs and catering staff are excellent, the food is beautifully cooked, tasty and nutritious. I believe the good care that I received definitely contributed to my quick recovery.
