Elizabeth Lodge is a modern, purpose-designed care home in Enfield offering quality care in an elegant and stylish environment. The team provides personalised residential, nursing and respite care for older people, including those living with dementia. They also offer sensitive end of life care.

The team works together with families to get to know each resident, meaning they can create a personalised care and lifestyle plan that's tailored to their unique needs, interests and choices.

The home has spacious, furnished bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom. Residents are welcome to enjoy the various lounge areas, the in-house cinema room and hair and beauty salon. Outside there are beautiful, landscaped gardens to enjoy.

Dad reached a certain age and had needs to go into a nursing home. I found Elizabeth Lodge and am so happy I did. What didn't, or wouldn't, they do for him? From having days out, which dad had not had in a long while, to doing arts and crafts, barbecues in the garden, parties, the list goes on and on.
He was made to feel at home from day one, laughing and joking with staff every day. Spoken to and treated with respect and he never felt unwanted. He actually started feeling like a normal human again and they made his last couple of months, his best in a long time. The staff are so polite and friendly and treat your loved ones like you do! I witnessed it and heard it from dad. All I ever used to hear from him, was, I love it here and the staff too. Just hearing that from him, made me feel more relaxed and content, knowing I made the right decision. I could never thank all the staff there enough for what they do and even now, after dad passing, I still go and visit. Highly recommend.

My mum has been a resident of Elizabeth Lodge since last November she has settled in nicely. The staff are amazing, caring and do a fantastic job looking after all the residents, especially my mum who is partially blind and hard of hearing.
They are very welcoming, kind, friendly whenever I visit my
mum. They also care for me and understand me when I'm upset which is most of the time.
The entertainment is amazing my mum loves listening, singing to the music.
I really can't thank the staff enough for everything they do for my mum.
If it wasn't for one of the staff there I really don't know where my mum would be today. I thank each and every one of you for everything you do for my mum I really don't know what I would do without you all.
Elizabeth Lodge is the best care home and I would highly recommend it for placing a parent in for the best care.
Thank you all, each and everyone for looking after my precious mum.

Elizabeth Lodge has been caring for my mother for the past 3 months. My family and I feel so wonderfully lucky to have such caring and considerate staff looking after our dear old mum. They have alleviated so many of the worries we had by continuing to inform us of any changes or procedures taking place
in the home. My mum has been helped back to fitness by the fantastic care she has received. Thanks from the bottom of our hearts to all the staff at Elizabeth Lodge.

My husband has been at the home for a year now and it has been a difficult time for me not being with him at the home, but I couldn't be happier with how they look after him. To be honest they look after him brilliantly but they also look after me and have become my friends.
I know they are doing an

Everyone at Elizabeth Lodge works really hard and are so brilliant with my dad. They know him so well and are so patient. I can call at any time and they are always available. During the lockdown, they even organised facetime calls so that we could see him. They really do an amazing job and always with

Staff are friendly and approachable. They have been very good at communicating and always make time to talk with us as relatives regarding our relatives care, state of health and medication. We are pleased that they will provide the food our relative requests and are keen to encourage them to eat. They
have called in the doctor as necessary. We would defiantly recommend Tudor Ward to anyone and feel we could not have found better care anywhere else.

I am very pleased with the nursing home from my first visit when I came to see the home till now, two weeks after my friend's admission. Nursing care and staff are all kind, attentive and helpful. The atmosphere is good and friendly and there is always a welcome from reception.

The Tudor Ware have shown real professionalism, their care and support for the elderly is wonderful. Since my mother had been moved to this ward our mother is so much happier, her care plan is so much more properly done, we as a family are so much happier. All the staff are brilliant.

Our mother moved into Elizabeth Lodge in early 2019 after a period of hospitalisation because she could no longer be adequately cared for by members of the family or by carers in her own home.
From the time that she moved in, she was cared for kindly and with respect. We never felt that her care was
lacking in any significant way. In fact, moving into Elizabeth Lodge seemed to take unseen burdens off Mum and enabled her to live the final chapter of her life very comfortably and with dignity. Her nurses and carers in Hanover were extremely kind to her and showed her real affection. One thing that we loved was that they could see past her dementia to the very intelligent woman that Mum was. Additionally, the admin team always dealt with us patiently and helpfully, always making our enquiries seem welcome. Mum passed away comfortably in her own lovely room, surrounded by people who loved her and who wanted only the best for her. We are so thankful!

My sister has only been in Elizabeth Lodge for 4 weeks. She had to move from her previous care home because she may need Oxygen which was not available there.
It took a while for her to settle as she had been in the previous home for 20 months and she was not happy to move. But the staff were great
and helped her so much. It is early days for me to properly asses everything yet.

My mother in law has used Elizabeth Lodge a couple of times now. The management helped me very quickly to organise a room for her. All the staff have been very helpful and caring.
The entertainments lady is exceptional, always including everyone even if they just want to watch.
Unfortunately, my
mother in law has passed away now but I will always recommend you to anyone I know who needs the facilities.

Job Title: Home Manager

I’m a nurse by training. I obtained a nursing degree in the Philippines and qualified as a nurse in the UK. I worked in the NHS here before making the move into the care home sector. I was keen to gain experience in a different setting, where I could make a difference to older people and get to know the people I care for. I’ve been working for Care UK since 2004.


Like any home manager worth their salt, I take pride in ensuring that we’re delivering superb care to every resident of Elizabeth Lodge. I’m focused on improving all aspects of what we do here. What makes it easier is that I have such a dedicated and supportive team. I love motivating and inspiring them to fulfil their potential while achieving excellent outcomes for our residents.


Although I’ve been a home manager for some time, I still get a buzz out of the simple things – like walking around the home, greeting residents and their families, and seeing everyone enjoying time together.
