We are pleased to hear that your Mother is happy with the care and support provided at The Fieldway. It's fantastic to read that the overall experience in the Home is positive and great to hear that the food quality is improving. The menus are developed in conjunction with the people who live in our Homes and we strive to evolve and adapt to the needs and preferences of our Residents. We appreciate your comments about our service, as this provides us with the opportunity to learn and improve. Unfortunately, we are unable to comment on the investigation, which is currently underway. However, should you wish to discuss matters further, please do not hesitate to speak with the Home Manager directly.

The staff are extremely busy caring for all residents but have gone above and beyond to ensure they look after my
My stepmother was very distressed when she arrived but over the past six weeks is making such wonderful progress. This is due to the care and patience of the whole team who go out of their way to understand the needs of the residents they care for.
I cannot praise the staff enough from the office, cleaners, kitchen, care, nursing staff and management.
They always have a smile on their face and are very welcoming.
Thank you to everyone it is so reassuring my stepmother is being cared for so well.

Job Title: Home Manager
As a Registered Nurse, Alexandra has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for residents.
Having worked at HC-One for many years, Alexandra closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every resident. She extends this caring approach to her colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.
When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Alexandra remarked:
“Seeing my residents enjoying their lives and seeing them happy. I like to think I am a caring person, and I enjoy helping people.”
Alexandra has also achieved much outside of work, with her proudest achievement being supporting her dad through surviving cancer.
Outside of work, Alexandra enjoys spending time with her family, especially her godson, and reading.
