Frithwood Nursing Home, Northwood is a care home for 26 elderly residents. Located in an English garden setting, residents are aged from 55 years. The emphasis of the home is a positive and enjoyable future and all rooms are fully equipped and furnished to a high standard. Residents are also encouraged to add their own personal touches to their room.

The registered nurses and care assistants who work at Frithwood are chosen for their warm personality as well as their skills and there are regular training updates for all staff. Frithwood’s philosophy is that care is a partnership between staff and residents – and they encourage family and friends to be involved.

The home provides 24 hour nursing care and offers a wide range of activities. Residents can relax in the comfortable lounge and landscaped gardens or go on a trip out. Frithwood always welcomes residents’ family, friends and members of the local community.

Perfect care from all the care staff. Very patient and accommodating with mum and us the family. Very pleasant atmosphere to be in. They make mum comfortable. Would highly recommend MD Homes services.

The manageress is very hard working, dedicated, cooperative, very well organized and makes sure that the residents are attended promptly and kept happy and comfortable. She also checks the cleanliness of the homes, laundry and kitchen.


The cook is excellent and cooks delicious variety of food


The

nurses are very experienced, work tirelessly, they give medication on time.


The carers attend immediately when required, shower the residents on time and make sure all the residents are fed well and on time.


The home has a friendly environment and all the staff are very respectful, hard working, cooperative and always attending with smiling, they never get upset or frustrated even if called several times for assistance.

I am Muhammad Anwar, and I began my journey with MD Homes in 2008 as a registered nurse. Over the years, I worked diligently, progressing to the role of Deputy Manager while working as a nurse. During my time at Northwood Nursing Home, I honed my skills in mental health patient care and more. In 2019, I transitioned to Frithwood Nursing Home as a registered nurse and Deputy Manager, I became Home Manager in 2023. My clinical expertise spans various health issues, providing me with valuable knowledge and experience. to take the best care of our residents.
