The new manager is really lovely. Had a meeting with him yesterday relating to my mum, along with the clinical lead and they were both really lovely, friendly and helpful. All the staff here that I've dealt with have always been very friendly, helpful, informative and are excellent. Weekend access can
be challenging (as there is no weekend receptionist) but apart from that, Mum is very well looked after and safe here. Gable Court is kept very well clean and it is a nice care home. It is very difficult to get Mum to join in activities downstairs in the lounge, so unable to comment on the activities here, but the staff do try and persuade her to go down. Glad Mum is safe and well looked after here.

My mother returned from a short hospital visit to the home but was still feeling quite unwell and exhausted. She didn't want to eat, drink or talk. The carer in question was extremely kind to my mum, spending time with her, reassuring her and comforting her. She encouraged her to ear a little and drink
some water. I would like to this carer to be recognised for her extremely kind and caring attitude.

Nursing care team are proactive in the management of relative healthcare needs. Care staff are polite and sympathetic to my aunt's needs and management staff are very facilitative with health care provider interactions. During recent periods of hospitalisation the nursing staff have been actively engaged
regarding admission discharge and have kept us as relatives fully informed which was highly appreciated.
Visior support at weekends could be improved, when staffing levels are lower, it can be challenging to find assistance eg to answer the door, answer questions, get access to additional seating. However support for the residents is still strong.

Gable Court was the only nursing home that would accept my father due to his complex needs assessment. We were extremely grateful that they were able to put 1:1 24-hour care in place. Management and staff were accommodating and helped to ease some of our concerns. My father had very good 1:1 care and
the staff worked extremely hard. He was treated with respect despite some challenging behaviours. The staff and management were fully supportive to us as a family in distress which we appreciated so much.

I attended the summer garden party at Gable Court on the 26th of August. It was clear to see that a lot of thought had gone into planning this event. Having brought down to the garden a number of residents, it began to rain! I was very impressed with how quickly residents were brought into the shelter
of the ground floor communal lounge. There then followed a wonderful afternoon of entertainment with drinks and food, some of which had been prepared by staff, Hats off to the staff for a wonderful event!

Went to the summer garden party on Saturday 26th August. Started in garden, it sadly rained, but staff were not beaten and within ten minutes all moved to lounge where party continued. Food was plentiful, soft drinks as well, entertainment great, raffle prizes food, all had a wonderful time. Mum was
singing away. Many thanks to all involved who worked very hard to make sure all went off as planned despite the weather. Well done.

Gable Court took very good care of my grandad in his last days.
He was comfortable and treated with dignity.
Nothing was too much to ask in his final days.
The staff are all so lovely and smiley.
It’s so lovely there, so calming and quiet.

Absolutely no problems with the care home. All of the staff always have time to speak to Mum. Would have no issues recommending the home if asked. Nothing seems to have been a problem for the staff, all very helpful and patient.

Looks nice but very unfriendly senior staff. Management is quite good at liaising with relatives. Some senior staff members are all about protecting their job without actually doing their job and very hostile to visiting families.
Mostly about how exterior presentation.
At first glance, looks good
but care staff/"nurses" certainly need more training.
