All the staff, from management down to the carers and housekeeping, have made us very welcome, and nothing is too much trouble. My husband, recently admitted to Hamilton Nursing Home, is very well looked after even though settling in will take time for him, I know that the staff will help him adjust
to his new surroundings.

We visited our friend on the day of their Christmas party, on 20th December 2024. The food, music and atmosphere was just incredible. The staff must have worked their socks off. 20 out of 10 for this home, the staff make us feel so at home every time we come to visit our friend.

My mother had a respite stay at Hamilton House following surgery. Hamilton House is a lovely home and all the staff were fantastic. They made it a very easy process at an extremely stressful time and took really good care of her. She made lots of friends while there and would be happy to return.

Despite my mother having specific mental problems, she has been made welcome at Hamilton. From the manager down to all the staff I have been impressed with their care and attention to detail. My mother sometimes has been difficult due to her long-term mental illness. All in all Hamilton staff have handled
her very well and in general terms, my mother has been a happy resident. Thank you all for looking after my mum.

My mother has been in Hamilton Nursing Home for 4 months now and has settled in nicely. The staff are friendly and caring and always happy to help. The care staff are all lovely, they look after my father so well.
Always friendly, in fact all the staff, cleaner, and maintenance man are all really friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

I visit my friend regularly and am always greeted with friendliness by staff. My friend is obviously well cared for and is happy. That is all I ask. The home has a very friendly atmosphere, always welcoming and showing great care for residents. A lovely place to be.

We were so lucky to find Hamilton at a very dark and sad time for us all after Dad passed away and Mum could no longer look after herself at home. As soon as we visited to see it, the warmth, care and happiness was evident. All the staff were amazing - such attentiveness and professionalism, with real
affection for the residents. Lots of activities, outings and fuss for things like birthdays made Hamilton a godsend for the last six months of Mum's amazing life.

Whenever I was at the care home staff are always happy, and helpful to me and all the residents in the home. Activities going on all day and every day. Birthday parties for the residents with a cake for whoever birthday it was. The home was always clean and tidy. The food menu always looked good with
changes every day. The staff work very hard at the home but they are always happy and good around the residents. The staff are fantastic.

The staff at Hamilton are attentive to my father's needs and have developed a good rapport with him; he in turn seems very comfortable with them. They keep me well informed about any significant issues with his care and are always willing to discuss such matters in person or by phone. I find the whole
team to be friendly, courteous and genuinely caring. They make every effort to give the home a warm, family like feel, which other visitors to my father have also commented on. Mum has been at the Hamilton for almost 10 months and I really can't fault the care she has received since she moved in. The manager and staff have always gone above and beyond to meet all her needs and respond to any requests/concerns we have had. They provide a wide range of activities throughout
the week which Mum thoroughly enjoys, and the quality and variety of food never ceases to amaze me. They go out of their way to make every resident feel special every day and also ensure they all have a party on their birthday. They even held a summer garden party last weekend too which close family were able to join in and enjoy the wonderful food and entertainment. I know that meant so much to mum. Mum is always very calm when we visit her and the genuine interaction between her and the staff is wonderful and very reassuring. I have nothing but praise for all the staff at the Hamilton and wish to thank them all for the wonderful care they continue to give to our dear mum.

I have worked at Hamilton since 2003. I joined after starting a family and looking for a worthwhile return to work environment. Hamilton gave me that and more. It soon became apparent that I wanted to work in this environment building strong relationships with residents and their families. I count myself lucky to have been given the opportunity and proud to now be the Registered Manager. I love working with my staff who are a creative and caring group of people who share my passion for providing the highest quality of person-centred care to our residents.


Hamilton is a fun place to be, creating music, laughter and meaningful moments with our residents makes each day so rewarding.


I am very proud of working in such a successful home with Good and Outstanding CQC reports and strong links with the local community.


I live with my 2 daughters who also keep me busy along with my ‘son’ Bailey – my adorable Chocolate Labrador!
