Hampton Care Home is situated in the attractive London suburb of Hampton.
The large, elegant purpose-built home was designed with generous rooms and wide corridors to give a spacious and airy feel, ensuring comfort and ease of movement around the home.

From the moment when residents enter the welcoming reception area, they get a sense of the quality of life and home-from-home feel that they can expect while living here.

Hampton Care Home has 76 generously sized ensuite bedrooms, spread over three floors. These are and comfortably furnished, equipped with a TV, a nurse call system and an adjustable automatic bed. There is plenty of space to accommodate wheelchairs in each room, if required. Free WI-FI is available throughout the home. There is lift access between all floors and Hampton has its own hair salon.

On each floor there is a dining room and lounge for meals, group activities or socialising, attended by its own team of nursing and care staff. They are on hand 24/7, supported by dedicated teams of chefs, activities, cleaning and housekeeping staff.

The home provides nursing care, palliative care and short-term care as well as secure and compassionate facilities for residents who are living with dementia.

Hampton Care Home is set within a large and gated garden where residents and their visitors can relax on a warm day. Ample parking is available.

Additional security features within the home help to ensure residents' safety.

My mother became a resident early January, a few teething problems at the start but were sorted out very quickly.
The nurses on the second floor are excellent, very informative and always have time for any queries and worries I have had.
The care staff have all been very kind to my mother, and overall
very helpful,
Reception staff, again, really kind and friendly.
The only negative is the smell on the second floor and the heat is overwhelming! My mother loves fresh air so it’s not good on that point.

We have a cooler on each unit, especially during summer time to ease the heat as it is on the top floor. We advise all visitors to open the windows when necessary to have fresh air. We always make sure to address all issues as soon as it is raised with us.

My father has been in the home since Autumn 2021. I selected it because of (1) the very professional interview and assessment of my father made by the current manager; (2) my previous experience when my mother-in-law lived there.
All in all, the care has been commendable, with the 24-hour coverage
providing a nurse on each floor. The care staff have increased since my father first arrived. Their care ensures all residents can be properly attended to. Until recently the team of nurses on his floor was stable but this has been temporarily disturbed by some staff leaving and the need for, albeit very effective, agency staff, continuity might have faltered but I am now impressed by the very professional approach they adopt. More permanent staff are expected. All are very approachable.
One issue is the reduced size of the activities and entertainment team. This works well during the week with a wide range of availability including outside entertainers. More staff being hired.

I have been pleased with the care my mum has received in the home. The staff are always smiling and make my mum feel valued. If I have any issue the staff come and rectify it immediately where they are able to. I would rate the home good to excellent.

My wife has had a stroke and is unable to speak and is immobile in bed. She requires constant care and medication. Every effort has been made to keep her comfortable which has been achieved through the highly professional treatment from staff. The love and kindness shown by staff brings a smile to her
face.
I also appreciate the understanding and kindness shown to me when I visit.
I highly recommend Hampton Care Home.

My mother, whilst in Hampton Care Home for respite care, has been very happy and so well looked after that she is now ready to go home but she goes home knowing that she will be very happy to return to Hampton in the future. All the staff have been attentive, friendly and very approachable.

My mum said:- "friendly, caring, knowledgeable staff. Sociable place but plenty of privacy if I need it."


I chose Hampton Care Home after seeing five others locally. They love and care for my Mym and know and understand her needs. There is much laughter during the activities and she especially enjoys

bingo, gardening and seated exercises. There is compassion here for all the residents. I am pleased we chose Hampton Care Home for my Mum.

Mum has been in Hampton Care Home since July 2019 and has always been extremely well cared for. Covid lockdowns were hard to cope with but the staff did their best for us to keep in touch via video links and phone calls. Mum feels safe and secure there and although her health is now deteriorating the
level of care, love and respect shown to her by the staff is very comforting and professional. Staff communicate with us as a family and since the arrival of the new Manager, the one area of concern, Management, has improved dramatically and a sense of stability throughout the Home is evident. The level of activities for all residents has recently increased and although Mum is now unable to take part in many due to frailty she is always encouraged to get involved in communal activities and was able to really enjoy the Jubilee party and a recent bbq. Mum is loved by many staff and she in return is very fond of them. Hampton Care Home is a wonderful Nursing Home and I would certainly not hesitate in recommending it.

Dad has been very well cared for at Hampton Care Home. The permanent staff - reception/admin/nursing and carers are all lovely and the full-time nurse on his floor is wonderful - keeping me up to date with Dad’s situation regarding doctors appointments and his general health especially whilst the home
was closed to visitors during a Covid outbreak. Currently, there is a vacancy for another permanent nurse which will hopefully be filled soon as it’s more confusing for Dad when there is less continuity.

My mother couldn’t be better cared for. We are so pleased she came to live at Hampton Care. The staff are friendly and the medical care is excellent. Lockdown has been tricky but we have managed, with staff help, to maintain daily contact with my mother.

This wonderful home gave my mum a fantastic Christmas by organising an in house choir made up of all the staff, so the residence could experience Christmas carols even though outsiders not allowed into the home. Celebrating with a day of festivities (her Christmas party). The home was decorated beautifully
from inside and out, the staff continued to smile and the home was filled with lovely laughter. My mum was so happy, and though her memory is poor she thoroughly enjoyed herself. Thank you.

My husband of over 50 years has now been living at Hampton Care Home since April 2018. Sadly his dementia and lack of mobility have got progressively worse since then. It has been particularly hard (but understandable) not being able to visit at times during the Covid pandemic. However, it has been
reassuring to know that he has been well cared for during that time. I feel very welcome when I visit, from the time I enter reception, to the time I spend with my Husband. The staff are very kind and whenever I see him he always looks well cared for.
I felt confident enough about the level of care and understanding offered by the home that, when a dear friend of mine needed to move into full-time care, I did not hesitate to recommend Hampton Care Home to her and her relatives. She became a resident in December.

The staff and the management are very dedicated, professional, competent and super helpful and friendly.
I do not worry about my mother when she is a Hampton Care Home because I know she is well looked after and loved.
The room is always clean and tidy, there is no bad smell at all.

My mother has been a resident of Hampton Care Home for some time, during which she has been shown a high level of care, respect and love.
Consequently, she has always felt safe and secure which provides comfort and reassurance to her family.
Carers and all support staff are attentive, polite and
professional in the way they go about their duties and since the arrival of the current care home manager, we feel there has been a real drive to continuously improve standards in all areas of the home.

The staff are very helpful and kind. They are always ready to help. I had respite care only and isolation for 1 week. The food was okay but could be better, maybe more salad and fruit for those who can eat it. The staff make this home top of the list.

Justyna came to Hampton as deputy manager in November 2022 and in February 2024 she was promoted to home manager. Previously, she established a dementia unit from scratch, leading this for over five years before making the move to Hampton Care Home.
