We recognise the difficulty in assisting all 19 residents with their meals during meal times and will continue to deploy staff from other departments to assist during these peak periods. On a daily basis, we review the dependency levels of our residents and ensure that we are giving the best quality of care through flexible staff deployment approach. We always value the input and suggestions from the relatives of our residents.

Prior to starting in this position as a General Manager at Hugh Myddelton, I had 17 years of experience in a care setting. I have been a Care Home Manager for 12 years specialising in nursing care, living with dementia and elderly frail residents. I have a nursing background and have completed my Leadership and management in health and social care. Caring is innate to me and my work ethos is to deliver a high-quality care service and to always be mindful of my workforce to be working as a team in order to progress.
Joining the Team at Hugh Myddelton as a General Manager, I felt welcome by everyone.
Hugh Myddelton has a warmth and good atmosphere. I enjoyed meeting and getting to know the team and the residents. I’m looking forward to managing this home continuing to provide high-quality care and being part of the community.
