Welcome to Ladyville Lodge, a warm and welcoming place that residents and staff call home. Ladyville Lodge is a family-owned purpose-built home that provides round-the-clock residential, dementia and respite care situated in North Ockenden.
 
Headed up by a very experienced management team with dedicated and experienced staff. The team delivers the highest level of compassionate, personalised care and are committed to providing residents with dignity, independence and choice.
 
The home has been carefully considered to ensure it offers exceptional accommodation, which is affordable and of an outstanding standard. Every detail of the home has been carefully considered, creating a pleasing and calming environment.
 
All bedroom suites are comfortable and spacious with some having en-suite facilities. The rooms come furnished however residents are able to request an unfurnished room allowing them to bring in those special objects and personal touches to make their room truly feel like home.  
 
At Ladyville Lodge, activities are important to people's health and wellbeing, therefore they have a varied programme of activities, performers and daily activities. There is also an in-house hairdresser. The gardens provide a relaxing and comfortable area for residents to enjoy.
 
Residents range from those who are relatively independent to those who require nursing, residential, dementia or end of life care. Ladyville Lodge provides discreet support in a place which is not institutional and promotes independence as much as possible. Dignity, encouraging, independence, involving family and friends, are part of Ladyville’s ethos.

    Due to the costs, we incur in preparing a room and the plan of Care for arrival, the minimum term of respite care is two whole weeks. This means that if your stay is less than two weeks, you will be responsible for our charges up until the end of the week you leave the care home.

My mother in law was resident in Ladyville lodge for just over two years.
I would recommend this home without any hesitation. From the first moment my husband and I walked in there with a view to moving his mother into a home we fell in love with the place, the staff were friendly and helpful. It
was spotlessly clean and the setup was like home from home with a dining room, lounges, and bedrooms. They have a hair salon there and a mobile hairdresser who visits once a week, the chiropodist visits regularly, and regular entertainment and outings. The food was excellent.
Sadly his mum passed away recently she was 97 years old and the staff were kind caring and helpful.
We cannot thank them enough for the care they gave to her throughout her stay.

My dad was recently in the care of Ladyville Lodge for palliative care, and he died there on November 19th. All I can say is that they made a very painful and terrifying time a little easier. The one thing my dad still enjoyed was food, and the food was restaurant quality, simple and plain but delicious.
The staff were kind and generous, and we felt that they listened to any concerns we did have. They treated my dad with respect and my family too. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Ladyville staff were amazing in my father’s last days; I can’t recommend them enough.
The food is amazing, and the care and nature of the staff are very reassuring.
The manager runs a fantastic home and always has both the resident's and their families' cares and concerns as a priority.

I and my family have nothing but praise for the high quality of care they provided to our beloved mum/nan during her short stay this year.
Nan was a temporary resident in the home following a fall and subsequent fractured hip, sadly nan would succumb to this on the 26th October 2020. It breaks our
hearts to see what nan endured over the past few months, mostly due to the lack of contact and visiting secondary to Covid. Care home staff done what they could to meet not only nans needs but to us as a family, who was grieving terribly at her gradual decline.
This is a thank you to all staff at Ladyville Lodge, but a special mention to those who really made it personal.

I am very pleased with the care my mother-in-law is receiving in Ladyville Lodge. Staff are always available to help. Any concerns raised are dealt with promptly. Staff are very friendly and kind. Ladyville Lodge has beautiful grounds, which have been lovely to use in good weather.

My dad has been at Ladyville Lodge since April this year, he is a resident in the nursing side as he has final stage Parkinson's, and needs full assistance for his daily needs. The carers and nurses show empathy, are kind, caring and patient with dad. The manager is always at hand to help with any questions,
and is constantly available, even on his day off. I found it very distressing when dad had to move into a home, but at Ladyville, I can sleep at night knowing he is looked after.

I am really impressed with the dedication and hard work of all the staff during the pandemic. I am very happy with the care my mother receives. The communication from the home has been excellent. The manager implemented zoom meetings which have ensured that relatives meetings continue to take place.
I personally feel the staff are genuine, welcoming and caring.

Our mum has been living in Ladyville Lodge for ten years now and we can really see the difference in her. She was really struggling at home with care that was not suitable for her needs. The staff at Ladyville have helped her so much that she is now laughing, singing, eating good home-cooked food and
being kept clean. She has made friends here which has also helped with her social needs and also joins in with many activities. Not only has Ladyville helped our mum, but it has also given us peace of mind. Thank you to the management and staff.

Over the past year, I have got to know mostly everyone at Ladyville. I feel very comfortable here. I would not leave my Mum anywhere that I wouldn't feel I could trust. The carers looking after her. She is my world and I only want the best for her, and that is Ladyville.

My mum lives at Ladyville Lodge. I had to wait for several weeks to get mum a room here. When one came available we were informed immediately. From day one mum has been made to feel cared for. Staff are amazing. Any concerns are dealt with promptly. So pleased we waited on the list for a placement,

Ladyville Lodge provided care for my mother since April 2017. The care was fantastic nothing was too much for anyone. The staff were brilliant and I had total peace of mind that mum was cared for to the highest standards. The hygiene was superb also the meals. The only reason mum left was I literally
got her in a home opposite my house it saves me 80+ miles of travelling a week plus I get to see her for longer times. I would highly recommend Ladyville Lodge to anyone who wants someone they love to be looked after to the highest standards.

Ladyville Lodge Care Home is a wonderful place. My Husband was in another care home locally but I was unhappy with the care he was receiving.
We visited Ladyville Lodge and met the manager and the team, who immediately made us feel at home. The home had such a warm feel about it and staff were interacting
so kindly with the residents.
My husband has not only received excellent care since being at Ladyville Lodge, but we have all become great friends.
I couldn't wish for my husband to be cared for any better. Myself and my family are over the moon with the care the staff provide my husband.

This was the only care home that had vacancies, I was worried about the state of the place, mouse box in lobby. The downstairs rooms looked very nice. At the time we were told that an upstairs room was a temporary arrangement. The upstairs rooms are grim, the fixtures and fittings are tired and worn,
window had warning written in marker pen that it was broken and not to be used. Told by staff that no pictures could be hung on the walls as the walls were too flimsy. Room so cramped that, when bed lowered, it hit the electric socket and knocked it out of wall. The nurses told me that a downstairs room was coming available and that I should contact the manager, I did so and was brusquely told that we would have to wait for years for a move - no view of the chickens and ducks for us! My relative only lasted a few weeks here, the staff all came down with a chest infection, I expressed my concern, my relative contracted pneumonia and died. The home didn't bother to offer their condolences.

Thanks to this home my mother-in-law has found her way in life again, my mother-in-law became unwell earlier this year and was no longer able to live independently at home. My mother-in-law had very low self esteem following a long period in hospital.
Myself and my husband searched the whole of Upminster
Romford and Grays to find a home for our loved one. After visiting many homes we came across Ladyville lodge, the minute we walked into this home we loved it and knew our mum would be very happy living in this home.
My mother-in-law has come on so well since being admitted into Ladyville she is living a life we never thought we would see her live again, the staff allow her to live independently but are always on hand to assist her when she needs it.
We couldn't rate this home any better it truly is an amazing place. Thank you Ladyville lodge for doing what you do best CARE.
I hope that if I ever have to go into a home I hope there is a place like Ladyville lodge for me.

My mother required palliative care and due to the age of my mother the choice was very limited, we had a choice of three however Ladyville Lodge was by far the best. When we visited the home before moving my mother, we found the place, welcoming, homely and clean which we were impressed by. My mum had
a lovely room where she was able to see the garden. She was only at the home for a month but in that time she was cared for excellently and made as comfortable as possible. The staff were compassionate and caring especially on the day that she sadly passed away, they were also very supportive to relatives/friends who come to see her. As a family we would highly recommend. Thank you for all that you did for my mum.

I cannot recommend this nursing home enough. With their friendly nature from the very 1st day my wife arrived.

Manager was so understanding and took so much pressure off of me too concentrate on my wife. All the staff from the sisters, nurses, cleaners, kitchen staff and even maintenance staff were
so friendly, happy attitude it made it a little easier at this difficult time which in turn made it feel more like home.


Down to earth caring people, not only for my wife, but for me also.


To trust another person to care for a love one is a very difficult thing to do. These people took that worry away but still not easy. From small things like favorite meals to hourly care, nothing was an issue or problem.


If I thought too me, there was a problem, I'd ask and I got told exactly how they were caring hourly, daily, etc and any future care planned ahead etc.


The single room my wife had looked out into the garden/patio area which is lovely. Unfortunately my wife could not get about to see the rest of the garden/out doors, but this open space looks across fields so a little peace of country side and not surrounded by other buildings.


This is a POSITIVE not a negative, even till the end the staff were with me and my family and still caring for my wife and me.

I’m a former schoolteacher and made the move into the care sector after realising this is where my passion lies.
