A former convent, this home has been refurbished to provide spacious and homely accommodation including ensuite bedrooms, a dedicated activity room and large communal rooms. Landscaped gardens and a patio area can be enjoyed by all. The home is close to the shops and local amenities.

The home can also accommodate couples with suites, which are larger rooms available for single and double occupancy.

Staff take great care to focus on the person at Lynton Hall. It’s important for residents to feel at home, so they create a friendly environment with an individually appropriate balance of care and independence.

Enjoying food is an important part of life. The chefs create well-crafted menus made with the freshest ingredients and try to cater for all ethnicity groups. Soon after a resident arrives at Lynton Hall, staff discuss their personal preferences and dietary needs with them.

Our friend arrived at Lynton Hall Care Home late in April this year (2016) having spent almost 3 months in the hospital. He was disorientated and unhappy not to be able to go back home. The manager at Lynton Hall Care Home and his team made it possible for us to feel at peace leaving our friend there
to live the last of his days. Recently our friend turned 100. The team at Lynton Hall Care Home were AMAZING!! They arranged a beautiful celebration for the 100th birthday, made a cake, prepared snacks, got all other residents dressed up for the occasions, got the Mayor to attend, got an entertainment singing group and harpist to play. AMAZING. I could just carry on. The event was in the local newspaper.

Fantastic presentation of food buffet on open day. Great change for residents and family, change for upstairs residents to spend time downstairs.

My father came to Lynton Hall on 31/12/15 having spent a long time in hospital. Within a few days my stress and anxiety were greatly decreased as I could see the care that was being given to him by all the staff. My father was treated with the utmost kindness and respect by all he staff. The facilities
in the home were maintained to a very high standard and dad's special diet was prepared without fuss. I felt staff also cared for my mum and were supportive to her as well.
