A purpose-built residential care home, Manor Court offers a range of tailored care options for short or long term needs. Care is provided to people living with dementia, Parkinson’s and Huntington's disease and also to the young physically disabled. Palliative care is also available.

The home consists of four separate houses each offering comfortable accommodation with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Landscaped gardens complete with furnished patio areas, raised flower beds and two sensory gardens provide an ideal setting to relax or socialise. The home also offers a double room, ideal for couples.

Manor Court recognises the importance of healthy and nutritious food. The in-house chef has created a range of seasonal menus to ensure residents receive a balanced diet. A hot and cold option is always made available so that all tastes are catered for.

Residents are encouraged to take part in daily activities such as film nights, exercise sessions and coffee mornings to socialise and get to know staff and other residents.

I will always be indebted to Manor Court for the care and compensation they showed my mother. My mother received palliative care at Manor Court last year. The care she received made the last months of her life comfortable and dignified.

I have been here to see my mum everyday. She gave me the feedback, what she has ate for lunch and it was very tasty she likes the food and very happy and satisfied.
She has been looked after very well and pleased with her personal hygiene, changing her clothes, combed hair and changed her bedsheets
etc. She can communicate with the carer and tell them if she needs something. Overall she is happy here.

The care home organised a bus trip to see the Christmas lights in London. Two buses took about 16 residents on a rather wet and windy Friday evening on a route that took in the popular streets in the city. Due to traffic, it was slow going but this meant more time to appreciate all the fantastic lights.
When we returned everyone was pretty tired but had enjoyed a great experience.

We went to visit our friend as we do on her birthday each year. Our friend knew we were coming and was ready for us. One member of staff was particularly helpful and kept coming to see if we had everything we needed. We had experienced this from other staff on other visits. The only difficulty was getting
into the unit on a Sunday.

As a family, we were more than happy with all the care and attention that was provided for our late father whilst he was in care at the Manor Court Care Home for over 6 months.
All the staff in the Willows Suite were very attentive, professional and friendly at all times. We can't fault them at all.
They were always there when our dad or we needed them. They made us feel very welcome and any request was never a problem.
We want to express our thanks to all the staff at the home.
These staff are all angels and should be rewarded for all their hard work, professionalism and dedication.

I don't have any concerns which could cause me to worry.
The resident has dementia and my worry is always that she cannot express her wishes but I haven't had a reason to worry as she is well looked after.

My uncle has been a resident in Manor Court Care Home for more than 9 months, Staff have been very helpful and caring towards the patient. I would like to say a special thanks to three staff members in particular and the staff member at the reception.
Definitely, there is still room for improvement
which hopefully will happen in the near future.

I was satisfied with my father's hygiene. The carers did change his clothes and clean him. I felt the catreworkers needed to be reminded about my father's food (putting the spoonfuls of thickener and using teaspoon to feed him). There could have been better communication (body language when feeding
my father as he did not want to finish all the drink). The nurses and management did an excellent job, very understanding and clear communication.

My dad stayed for two years, and he was a resident with many complex challenges. But over those two years, the entire staff from every aspect of the care home have shown humility, care, dignity and patience. The staff are super-humans, in my opinion. Incredible care comes, and I can't recommend it enough
for when the time arrives.

My mother has been a resident of Manor Court for 5 years in all that time we have found the staff to be absolutely wonderful.
They treat Mum as one of their own relatives as one of their own relatives which is very comforting. The only concern is the frequent turnaround of staff leaving.
