I will be honest when my mum went into Mornington Hall I was very worried but I just want to say thank you to all the staff that have made my mum so welcome. I'm so happy my mum really likes it. When I go visit the staff are so welcoming, the activities they do are outstanding, Mum really enjoys it.
I feel so happy now my mum is safe and happy. The food is outstanding, they cater for everyone. Thank you so much for making my mum feel so happy. The care and support are outstanding.

My Uncle passed away recently. The day and night staff dealt with this situation in the appropriate manner. I am extremely impressed and grateful with how it was dealt with. They gave my Uncle amazing care and he told us all about it. We were always treated with kindness and respect when visiting. I
would highly recommend this care home to everyone.

Staff are helpful and friendly. Care home is clean and well-maintained. Food is good and always with choice of menu. Activities are provided for residents and access to grounds and gardens are available. Safety is helped by the provision of grab rails in bath and toilet areas.

Overall, she has more recently settled in pretty well and as far as I can tell, seems genuinely contented. Even though she must find everything rather bewildering. Her double incontinence is still an issue and I know her washing and showering as well as toileting can still be somewhat challenging for
staff. She requires regular prompting to even carry out basic tasks, brushing teeth, hygiene, dressing etc. Her medication appears to have had an effect of calming her mood disturbance, but she is now barely able to communicate. The home is very good at organising activities and this has had a positive impact on preventing her social isolation.

Activities, a good range of activities, it's obvious a lot of thought and effort have been put into them. The Caribbean themed day was very enjoyable. All the staff worked hard to ensure everyone had a good time. Well done! also, the BBQ in July was great. This care home is also a pleasant one where
the residents are well looked after in so many ways. It's far better than the one my loved one previously attended.

My husband has Parkinson's and dementia and is very difficult to nurse. He has postural hypertension and falls very easily. He has one-to-one nursing. I have nothing but praise for the care he is given. The staff work very hard to supply my husband with all his needs. The activities coordinator is superb,
involving my husband in as many activities as possible. I have nothing but praise for the care my husband receives. I am very grateful to all the staff.

We were at the Hall to support our brother on the 13th of February at the Valentine's Tea Party.
We are extremely pleased with the entertainment and the care given to the residents during the party. The residents were encouraged to take part. Our brother loves dancing, and he was encouraged to dance,
in fact, the organiser danced with him which helped him immensely. He managed to dance on his own albeit holding onto his Zimmer frame.
The staff looked after the residents and made sure they were not neglected.
The food was delicious. The residents and the visitors enjoyed the food and the beverage.
The entertainer was great. His selection of songs suited everyone. He kept the momentum going well.
Overall a great successful event. I take my hat off to the organisers of this party. A job well done.

The activities staff member is a great asset to Mornington Hall. She is constantly keeping the residents occupied with activities whether it be colouring, bingo, baking, fishing games or catching a ball. She constantly interacts with the residents.
The Valentine’s Day party she organised was a great
success. She put so much effort and hard work into it. From arranging the entertainment to the catering. We all had a great time.
She is an amazing human who gives up so much of her own time for the good of the residents. The residents and relatives love her.

Overall really pleased with the care my father receives at Mornington Hall. He's settled in as comfortable as he can be, and I really feel that the staff try their very best to tend to his needs.
We always feel welcome when we come and visit as a family, and I can see from the interactions the staff
have with my father that they really do know him, treat him with kindness and try to get to the root cause of anything that may be causing him concern.
Also, appreciative of all the events and activities that are put on for all the residents and their families to enjoy. The activities are varied, well organised, thought out and are great fun for all the family! The management clearly cares about their residents, and all the staff follow suit.

My Mother has been a resident for several years. Definitely seen an improvement with the new manager and her staff. Mum is well cared for with dignity and respect. If Mum is unwell they get help from the GP.I am kept updated. There has been more activities and my mother is included where possible. The
activities team arranged a pub lunch in a local beer garden and my mother was able to attend. They also arranged a resident and family BBQ in the grounds with live entertainment. The cleanliness is very good with thanks to the domestic staff. The laundry is always done. Also the the maintenance staff are always busy keeping things as they should be. All staff are kind and supportive including the admin staff. The nurses and carers are extremely supportive to family members and meet Mum's needs. The cook and her team are always friendly and are happy to provide an alternative if it is not to the residents liking. Overall I am extremely happy with the care Mum receives.

I wanted to say that the care and attention my Auntie receives from everyone connected to the home is excellent, the staff are all extremely nice. The day-to-day activities are always varied and engaging. I have also attended a few special days, including a summer barbecue in the garden, and various
musical parties inside the home, all really enjoyable for the staff, residents and families alike. I would like to make a special mention to the lady who is responsible for the day-to-day activities, and organisation, she always puts her heart and soul into everything, with great attention to every detail.

Lukka Care Homes has been building and providing an excellent service since they took over. My dad is well cared for and has even started taking part in activities and has been more sociable since they brought in the activities coordinator. The monthly newsletter is also fantastic as we are kept up
to date on everything going on. The staff are extremely helpful and hard working. I have been so impressed with all the changes they've made since taking over and can take a step back knowing my dad is being well cared for.

All the nurses and staff at Mornington Hall Care Home are fantastic, caring for all their residents for all their needs.

The staff here could not be more amazing. They are some of the kindest, most dedicated and wonderful people I have ever encountered. The residents are treated with so much care and respect. I must say the new activity coordinator lady is brilliant. There are so many activities on offer for them, and
great facilities. It is always immaculate and the environment is clean, homely and welcoming. The gardens are so beautiful, the food is great, cannot fault anything. It seems like nothing is too much trouble for these people and they are so accommodating. All staff here deserve massive thanks and respect for what they are doing, they really do go above and beyond. Cannot praise highly enough.

As a Registered Nurse with over 30 years’ experience, Pervine has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.


Pervine closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


She also works hard to arrange events and activities with nearby schools and clubs and is always keen to include the local community in life at Mornington Hall.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Pervine remarked:


“It means the world to me to know I’m making a difference in the lives of our Residents. It’s always wonderful to see them with smiles on their faces.”
