Nairn House is a purpose-built home in Enfield that warmly welcomes people with a range of residential and nursing care needs, including palliative and Parkinson's care.

They’re there when you and your loved ones need them most. For planned respite or last-minute trips. A safe space to recover after an operation. To experience what their home’s like before moving long-term. To just relax. Whatever the reason, their doors are open.

Nairn House is set within pleasant grounds and situated close to local amenities such as shops and a bus route. Accommodation features furnished en suite bedrooms with views of the gardens and each room has a 24-hour call system.

Meals are varied to suit individual tastes and diet and prepared daily by the in-house chef. They also talk to each resident about their likes, dislikes and any special dietary needs when they move in. That way, their food is cooked just right. A Night Bite menu is also available for out of hours snacks and refreshments.

There’s a real sense of community at the home. The staff work to discover what residents enjoy doing and the home's social calendar is organised around those interests. Dedicated activity coordinators help ensure residents are able to pursue their hobbies and interests, as well as organising a range of activities which include bingo, quizzes, flower arranging and music sessions, there is so much for residents to enjoy. Regular trips to the seaside are also enjoyed as are shopping trips and themed monthly events.

My mother was, unfortunately, bed ridden and very poorly when she was admitted to Nairn House Care Home so didn't experience the lovely food and facilities provided but she was treated with dignity and kindness while she was there. Sadly, she died four weeks after being admitted. Thank you to all the
staff who did their best to make her as comfortable as possible while she was there.

My husband was treated with the utmost care and patience during the last stage of his life. The nurses and carers did all they could to make his life as comfortable and pain-free as possible. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness.

Well run home. Clean, efficient, good nursing staff and reception. Excellent carers who mostly really cared about residents. Night nursing staff good. Night carers not so much so.
