Norwood Green Care Home in Southall, Middlesex, offers 24-hour care and support for older people in a comfortable and homely environment.

The home can support people living with a range of differing health needs, including residential, nursing and dementia care and respite and short breaks are offered subject to the homes' availability.
   
As well as access to lounges and dining rooms, residents benefit from a library, a coffee lounge and private and peaceful landscaped gardens. There is a spacious activities room used for games, hobbies and crafts organised by the dedicated activities coordinator as part of the weekly programme of events. Minibus access affords the home the ability to get out and about to places of interest too.

Spacious, ensuite bedrooms allow their residents to receive personal care in the comfort and privacy of their own room, maintaining dignity and supporting independence.

It is great to see my Aunty in Norwood Green Care Home. After my Aunty had a hip replacement, she couldn't walk herself and needed 24-hour assistance.

Very satisfied with the care home. My mother has settled into her new room and surroundings very well. All staff have been very helpful. I really like the effort they gave with making mum's room nice, tidy and welcoming. Very happy.

During the recent Covid emergency the home has done an excellent job in keeping people up to date and allowing them to be in touch with their relatives. We could not have asked more from the staff in this respect. It is also clear that over recent weeks there has been a change in management, with much
greater responsiveness and a clear desire to learn more about those people in their charge.
I have no doubt that if this continues, our current assessment of the management as satisfactory would change to good and even excellent.

The staff are very friendly and caring and treat the residents with the highest quality of standards. I have noticed that the home has had a dramatic change within a short space of time since they have appointed a new manager. I hope this will continue.

This is my first experience of how a care home works. The staff are friendly to visitors and caring to the ones who live in here. I also think the ones that are active need stimulation, activities need to be put in place.

My husband has been a resident of this place for the last 2 and a half years. The care home is run reasonably well and residents are looked after satisfactorily. However, there is room for improvement at this place in terms of care, hygiene, food, cleaners, staffing and environment. Some of the issues/concerns
are being addressed but a lot to be done to address the other issues/concerns.

My husband stayed with you for one week in March 24/31. He has had respite in a number of care homes in the vicinity, none of which match up to the care and nursing you give in Norwood Green. The place was clean, friendly food wonderful. You saw to his every need and whim. He loved it there, I hope
when he needs to attend a care home again it can be with you. Your review from the care commission should be excellent not just good. Thank you so so much.

Myself and brothers and sisters are very happy with the care our dad is getting he is cared for, kept nice and clean and well fed if we talk to any member of staff they are always very polite and helpful.
The only thing I have a problem with is the door to his room has to be held open with a chair
as the door stop has been missing since he moved in there, I have mentioned this several times, because of fire risk.

Initially working as a pre-registered nurse, she progressed to become a nursing home manager, demonstrating excellence in overseeing daily operations, implementing rigorous quality standards, and providing strong leadership to ensure the well-being and care of her residents.


Miguel's hobbies include reading, cherishing quality moments with her family, and staying ahead of current developments in healthcare.


Sipin

Sipin Samuel

Sipin began his career in the care sector in 2009, inspired by his mother and his experiences caring for his grandparents. He joined Norwood Green in January 2019 as a Registered Nurse and now serves as Deputy Manager, striving to elevate care standards for residents. He holds a Bachelor's in Nursing, is a certified Dialysis Technician, and has a Master's in Hospital Management.
