I have been working at Queens Court since 2005. During this period of time, I am a strong advocate of the Whole Home Approach. We implemented this model several years ago. My role as the Dementia Care Champion is pivotal within a Memory Lane Community. Dementia Care Champions receive additional training for the Dementia Care Team and act as coaches within our home. As the Dementia Care Champion for Queens Court. I also work closely with a Dementia Care Specialist to ensure that good Dementia care is being maintained and that any potential 'issues' have a quick resolution.

The therapy involves welcoming them, hand massage, head massage, relaxation exercise, breathing exercise, nail care, hydration, sense of touch, sense of flavour, reminiscence, and relaxing in the therapy room with diffusor on with the relaxing essential oils.
