Ravenscourt provides a friendly and warm place for residents to live as full and enriching a life as possible. A range of activities are organised and carried out every week which re specific to the hobbies and passions of the residents. Staff take time to find out what things resident enjoy doing before planning the schedule of activities.

Staff are trained rigorously to become competent care assistants and all have either gained or are studying to achieve their National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) level 2 in care.

Since Mum was moved into Ravenscourt two weeks ago, the care she and we as a family have received from every member of staff has been outstanding. The staff are professional, caring and polite. The standard of the meals is very high and the home is exceptionally clean and welcoming.

I cannot praise Ravenscourt Nursing Home highly enough. From the management to the nurses/carers and the cleaning staff this home is first-class. We as a family moved my mother-in-law to Ravenscourt Nursing Home in March 2022 from another Nursing Home. What a difference it has made to her wellbeing
and the family's peace of mind knowing she is in excellent professional hands.

Our stepfather went into the care home at the end of July and was immediately given care of the highest standard. The staff and management could not have been more attentive to our father's needs.
Although he was there only a short time, the care he was given cannot be faulted or questioned.
We are
grateful for the care and compassion given by all staff at Ravenscourt to our father in his final days.

Our 85-year-old mum, who suffered from Alzheimer's and dementia, recently passed away. She was hospitalized last July for a couple of months and during that time was fitted with a nephrostomy tube. After being assessed by an NHS hospital, a new nursing home (Ravenscourt) was found as her previous care
home was unable to facilitate this.


During mum’s brief time at Ravenscourt, we cannot praise the manager, nurses, and staff for making mum’s stay as comfortable as possible. The professionalism, care, love, and dignity shown towards mum and her family far exceeded all our expectations right up to the day she peaceably passed away. Our only wish is that we found you five years ago at the beginning of mum’s journey.


A first-class nursing home in every aspect of care. Thank you so much!

Caring for a loved one with kindness and respect is of paramount importance to us as a family, and we are of the opinion that your management and staff fulfil this role beautifully, and for that, we are very grateful. My dad has had exceptional care for the few months he has been a resident. The carer's truly do care about my dad. They are very attentive and know exactly what his needs are and cater for them. They liaise with us and keep us up-to-date with his wellbeing. I feel relieved and confident that he is
in safe hands and as comfortable as can be. Unfortunately, my dad has not been well enough to take part in any activities but I hear them going on and all seems well organised. They have allowed us to take in our dog that my dad loves to feed with biscuits. The other residents also enjoy a pet to pamper. The home is always clean, welcoming and responsive.
A big thumbs up from me.

Choosing a care home for our elderly mother was a very daunting experience for the family but the Manager at Ravenscourt and her wonderful staff put our minds at rest. They were always available to answer any questions we had and put our minds at ease. The staff provided great care and support for the

My mother was moved to Ravenscourt over two years ago following the sudden death of our father who was her main carer. She was in the final years of dementia and nothing was too much trouble from the day we arrived, such a traumatic situation was made so much easier by the kindness and compassion of
everyone who works there. This home have staff that stay in their jobs because they enjoy caring, I can’t fault the service they have provided and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to other families.

I was placed in Ravenscourt Nursing Home to undertake a slow-stream rehabilitation programme after breaking my ankle. I have found all members of staff to be friendly, caring, attentive and professional. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The home is very clean and the residents' rooms are cleaned
daily. The food menu is varied, and being quite a fussy eater, alternatives to the daily choices on offer can be easily accommodated. Overall, I have to say that my 5 out of 5 score is well-earned and I would have no hesitation in recommending the home to family and friends.

My very first experience of a care home was at Ravenscourt Nursing Home.
I truly had no idea what to expect so felt very nervous.
The Manager and her team of caring professional and enthusiastic staff made my choice so much easier, it felt so welcoming and homely that I had every confidence they
would look after my brother.
The whole team could not do enough for us, they answered my many questions throughout my brother's stay here, making us all so welcome, doing everything possible to support us all during a very difficult time, with the added pressure of Covid restrictions.
The procedures that were in place gave us confidence that all residents, staff, and visitors were in a safe environment.
My lasting memory of Ravenscourt is that my brother knew he was truly cared for, and for that, I will be forever grateful.

Cannot praise Ravenscourt enough. Quite simply they care.
Management and staff treat mother with dignity and ensure her individuality isn't taken away. The care programme is second to none, providing stimulation.
The meal plans are excellent with a four week rotation menu.
When visiting we are
made to feel so welcome.
The home is warm and inviting, mother's room is personalised and comfortable.
Generally, mum is engaged and happy which is all that we could wish for.

My mother was a resident admitted from hospital on a palliative pathway. The home was the only one we approached who were willing to offer a viewing before due to Covid-19 and the staff were kind and informative, understanding how difficult the decision was for us and reassuring us that under the circumstances
there would be no restrictions for the family to visit as often or for as long as we wanted. On arrival and throughout we were treated with sensitivity and flexibility despite their understandable requirement to comply with Covid-19 procedures. At every visit, we were offered food/refreshments and any requests we made for staff to attend to my mother's needs were met quickly and efficiently. They checked in on us regularly when we were there, updating us on how she had been and actions taken during our absence. Following my mother's death, due to a bureaucratic issue that arose, they were supportive and proactive to help. Would recommend it for a loved one.
