There’s so much to do and see in the local area, including Eltham Palace and Gardens, Danson Park and boating lake, and the 60 acres of parkland at Swanley Park – you’ll find a lovely little café there.
The home has it's own private care park.

The location was ideal for someone in her position (bed/chair bound) but keen to be taken out in her wheel chair to the very close shops and restaurants (especially the local curry shop, Wetherspoons and McDonald’s). The local church kindly took her to Sunday services every week, as well as to other special occasions.
As usual in this situation, mum had her favourite staff and those she was not so keen on. I do not think this is a reflection on any of the staff or management; it is just a human trait.
Many times I asked if she would like to consider another care home and every time she quickly and firmly replied that she wanted to stay where she was.
