At Stamford, the team are trained in nursing and residential care, dementia care, palliative, post operative convalescence and respite care. They are also experienced in tailoring support for adults with challenging behaviour, including for younger adults with a physical disability. Advanced bookings are available.

Spacious bedrooms and living areas are ideal for residents with a disability, en-suite and decorated to achieve a relaxing atmosphere. There are call systems and TV points in bedrooms which clients are welcome to personalise.

Diet is assessed shortly after arrival and meals are made from freshly-sourced produce. There are hot and cold alternatives available and a choice of dining with other residents or in the privacy of bedrooms.

There is a real sense of community at Stamford. Games, reminiscence sessions and trips to the parks are included in a varied activities programme, with the home committed to supporting personal interests.

My mother stayed here for respite care for a few weeks. The care home provided very good service from start to finish. The admin staff made the initial process very easy and were excellent throughout. Management was very good and dealt with any issues or concerns promptly to resolve them. As I was away,
I could only contact my mother via WhatsApp, which was arranged by one lady who again was very helpful in arranging this. My mother said that she enjoyed her time there and felt she was looked after very well. I would like to thank all the staff there, not just the ones mentioned, who made her stay enjoyable. I would not hesitate in arranging another stay there if required.

My husband's stay in Stamford Care Home was for three weeks. I am very satisfied and happy at the level of care he received. The staff was also very professional and helpful. My husband was very happy while in your care. Also, it gave me great pleasure to go away and know he was well taken care of on

My nan was well cared for. Wasn’t able to visit her during the lockdown, but I had video calls which I’m extremely grateful for. My mind was put at rest knowing she was looked after. I just wanted to express my sincere gratitude to the management and staff (carers, and activity staff) that gave our mother such a wonderful birthday yesterday. It brought tears to our eyes to be able to see her during a pod visit. Although we couldn't touch her, we could speak to her and watch her
dancing in the wheelchair to the music you played. Thank you for making her a birthday cake, we bought one too, so it was funny to see her stuffing her face with all this cake! She really enjoyed herself. We are eternally thankful for your care and attention to her.

The team has supported her while she was unable to weight-bare on her leg. Once she was then able to weight-bare, the staff and especially the management team, assisted in getting her to go home with the various support in place at home.

My father has dementia and was a resident for the last couple of months of his life.
I was very happy with all aspects of the care home and his care; he was happy here too.

My Dad was a resident for approximately 18 months after being unable to care for himself at home due to Dementia. He was very well looked after during this time as his illness progressed. We will always have the lovely memory of sitting outside in the communal garden as a family before his health declined.
Special thanks go to the entertainment team, who personally spent lots of time with Dad, who helped him and made him laugh. You know who you are and especially the lady who used to banter with him, who when she walks into the day room the residents' eyes light up. Thank you all for the care and respect you gave Dad until the end came in December. You will never be forgotten.

Bringing dad to Stamford Care Home was the hardest decision of our lives. Dad was happy and always loved and cared for by the amazing staff at the home. Mum came to the home every day for nearly three years, the staff were always welcoming and helpful to her. It was like mum was treated like she was
home. Dad passed away on the 21/09/2019 the home called every day and kept contact with us for updates of the funeral. They came and were with us all the way and were amazing people.

The home is very clean. The staff are very nice but some are better than others. The food also varies but on the whole, it is nutritious. I have been treated kindly and with respect.

I am pleased the way the staff care for my brother here. He still doesn't like being here but is settling down slowly. He gets fed very well and especially likes the fish and chips on Fridays.
