As a short term resident following major surgery, I found Woodlands to be a very welcoming place with a family feel. All the staff whatever their roles were friendly, caring, and professional. Nothing was too much trouble, all needs were met and requests fulfilled. Good link with local GP.
Supportive
when needing to attend hospital appointments, arranging transport, and providing someone to accompany residents on those visits.
The greatest compliment I can pay is if I was in the same vulnerable situation again in the future I would have no hesitation in returning to Woodlands Nursing home for care and support. Thank you.

My grandad has been extremely well cared for at Woodlands. The manager has answered any questions we have and has done everything he can and more to make sure not only Grandad but also us as a family are happy. Even through covid, they have done their very best using FaceTime calls and taking deliveries
of sweet treats for grandad. Grandad has just celebrated his birthday and they really made his day with a homemade huge chocolate cake, banner and balloons and included us with FaceTime calls to celebrate as we can’t be with him.
I honestly don’t think they could do any more for my grandad at this stage of his life and feel happy and relieved that he is well looked after every day.

Throughout the pandemic, the home has been great for my aunt. They have been a very safe home and have kept me updated on the progress of my aunt and her condition. Staff went out of their way to celebrate my aunt's birthday and even allowed a small window visit for this occasion, during the pandemic.
Hats off to the staff and management at the home. Keep up the good work, highly recommended.

Credit where credit is due. I am very pleased that I found the right place for my very elderly mother, she has been well looked after, appears in much better shape since her move to this care home. All the staff are absolutely polite and do their level best to look after the residents. My review, however,
is based on my own experience of dealing with both the management and staff and I can say that they are very professional in social care and well being of residents. I thank them for looking after my mum to the best of their ability.

This care home is remarkable with the best care anyone can give the residents. Hardworking staff, where they treat the residents as their own relatives. I am happy my friend lived here in Woodlands Nursing Home as he lived his great last life and enjoyed his stay. I highly recommend this to anyone else,
as you will not find a loving care home like this one.

My grandmother received excellent care at Woodlands Nursing Home in her last year of life. In her last 10 days returning from hospital they gave such tender loving care and updated us as relatives clearly.

I found the carers to be warm and caring and dedicated to the residents. My mother was clean and well looked after and treated with respect, dignity and compassion. The activities could be a little more stimulating but this is not a reflection on the staff who always do their best.
