My mother went into residential care in October 2016. I can only say that what just about makes it bearable is the kindness and treatment I've seen from all of the staff. The fondness they have for my mother is evident and equally her fondness for them.
Activities is only lower marking due to the fact
my mother declines to join in a lot so I don't know if I've seen them all.

My mother-in-law is so much better physically and mentally since she moved into Beaumont Park. She had been seriously ill in hospital and before that had been unable to do much for herself - her legs were very swollen, she wouldn't sleep in a bed, kept setting fire to her microwave 3x! had falls and
now we know that she is safe.
Her legs are much better, she sleeps a lot but her bed is a profiling bed and she is very content. When she will let the staff get her up she now joins in and talks to people which she wouldn't do at home.

My mother has settled very well at Beaumont Park. She has a lovely room with her own toilet which allows her to remain independent day and night and keeps her dignity. The food is home made and she really enjoys this. The annual BBQ is always very generous to residents and families with a warm welcome.
We have been pleased she is able to display her photo's on the walls. Mum enjoys the chapel service in the conservatory and now goes across to trinity methodist chapel. She begins to join in more and more activities and enjoys the visits in her room from activity staff. She loves the staff keeping her room clean and clothes washed and hung up. She calls it a 5 star hotel. After a lifetime of hard work this is a reward indeed.

Very friendly and caring staff who go the extra mile. You get the feeling that they are passionate about providing personal care and attention and with the relationships we have built there it feels like family care. They are trusted and highly competent and provide a wide range of social activities.
Overall very pleased and could not ask for a nicer home so close to our family.

My husband has been at the home for nearly eight years. In all that time I have never had any reason to be concerned with the care he has received. They have adapted to all his changing needs and always treated him gently and with dignity. There is not a huge turnover of staff, there are many faced
still there today as there was when he arrived. They have always made me feel very welcome and listened to any concerns I may have for his illness. I would definitely recommend them.

I have found the reception staff very helpful, the nursing staff very approachable and caring with regard to my mums problems with her caretaker and other problems moving her about. The carers are very patient with feeding her as she cannot now feed herself. The enablement team encourage her with playing
Bingo and games and singing. She is very contented at Beaumont is always clean and well catered for.

There are some lovely people who work here, from the 2 activities ladies to the laundry cleaning and maintenance people. Lack of time is an issue, 20 minutes to wash, dress, hoist and take a person downstairs is not long enough. More time would allow better teeth cleaning and finger nail cutting for
example. Event days are well organised e.g Christmas Day, and Mother's Day. It would be good if there was a larger communal room to accommodate all residents at one time. There are 2 church services a month. Visiting at any time.

I consider myself fortunate to reside here really. I'm lucky to be able to do most things of myself, washing, bathing, feeding. My laundering is on hand 24/7. The carers are just that - caring. The management are management who are approachable really.

They don't always get it right, but they always try! They want their residents to feel happy and safe. We have found everyone willing and doing their utmost to make my Aunt feel valued and comfortable. Does she want to be in a home? No. Is she happy at Beaumont? Yes.

My Mum was in another home and in November 2014 we moved her to Beaumont as the other home treated her very badly. Beaumont have a high level of care towards my Mum and us as a family. I cannot fault their work. My Mum is fully looked after. Staff are very pleasant and communicate with us at all times.

My wife was previously in a care home where the care she was given was very poor, she moved to Beaumont Park 1 year ago. The transformation from someone on end of life not eating or drinking much at all hardly responding and in bed 24 hr a day. To someone eating and drinking putting weight back on alert
and responding in her wheelchair going out in nice weather. This is due to all of the staff, cleaners, carers, nurses, all members of staff with the manager at the helm, what more can I say, 5 star.
