Great care was provided for my father who had Parkinson’s Disease. The staff were always really friendly, helpful and accommodating. The facilities are really good the communal rooms always have a nice atmosphere. The standard of meals provided is excellent. There is a range of activities each week.

The time my mother spent at Rosalyn House - Oct 2019 to her passing in April 2020 was I have to say difficult times for all, especially with the lock-down etc. Throughout her stay, the way she was looked after by the staff was with great care and compassion. As a family we could not fault the total
professionalism from the management, nurses and carers - all could not do enough for my mother and her family. We will be eternally grateful to them all.

I always get a warm welcome when I come to visit my mum and staff are always quick to contact me if Mum is unwell or they wish to discuss anything about her. The home is always clean and tidy and Mum is always clean and tidy. From what I have seen all the meals are very nicely presented and are good
and tasty. Mum is so much better for the love and care that she gets at Rosalyn House. No complaints at all.

My mum went to Rosalyn House for respite in march 2020, just when lockdown started, my mum has been cared for in everything she needed..over the few months it was decided mum needed to be cared for full time at Rosalyn House mum was asked if she was happy to stay, mum said yes I love it here everyone
that cares for me are always kind they take time never rushing me.
I have always been informed of everything that I need to know, I couldn't be happier for mum to be living at Rosalyn House.

My mother was admitted to Rosalynn House from hospital for palliative care and not having any previous experience of Rosalynn House I was very pleased to find the staff attentive and very helpful and kind they couldn't do enough for us.
Unfortunately, she was not there long but the staff made her last
few weeks very comfortable and I would recommend them to other families looking for a nice, friendly home for their loved ones.

My Mum spent over 6 years in Rosalyn House as her dementia advanced and until she sadly died recently. Throughout all of that time even with changes of owner and staff her care needs were met.
My elderly father, my sister, brother, myself and other family members were always made to feel welcome and
supported in our quest to make Mums twilight years the best they could be.
Covid19 brought new challenges and the wonderful care staff had to do all they had done previously as well as fill the gaps left due to isolation from family members who previously visited.
The facilities are clean and tidy, staff generally cheerful and sensitive,and communication with family is regular and factual.
We are very appreciative of the part Rosalyn House and it’s staff in those last years of my Mum’s life.

After a long stay in hospital, my husband was transferred to Rosalyn House for rehab. I was unable to visit the home as it was in lockdown and therefore all my dealings were conducted over the telephone with various members of staff. I cannot commend them more highly for their caring attitude to both
myself and my husband and for helping to put me at ease during what was a very anxious time. When my husband had to return to hospital they dealt with everything in a sympathetic manner making sure I was aware of what was happening. He then came home and I was unable to collect his possessions and medication from them. They went out of their way to deliver everything back to me and I cannot thank them enough for all their help and kindness during this most difficult time.

My father who was admitted into hospital in January 2020 was in poor health and had been unwell for a few weeks. He had dementia for a number of years and lived at home with his wife who was the main person that looked after his day to day needs. He also had additional support from a care organisation
on 3 days per week for personal needs. My father was 90 when admitted to hospital where he stayed for around 6 weeks. It was decided to transfer him to a care home later in February 2020 as he was becoming very frail and was in need of nursing care. After viewing a number of care homes in and around Luton , it was decided that Rosalyn House was best able to provide for his care. Having visited prior to moving my father to the care home with my sister, we found the staff and management of the home well suited and experienced with the elderly and people with dementia. The home was clean, tidy and had all the provisions in place that would be required for my father. He was bed-bound.

My sister-in-law moved into Rosalyn House from hospital this evening. She was understandably frightened and nervous. I have just been speaking to her. We both think it was lovely the way everyone has gone out of their way to be nice to her, to settle her, and to calm her. She arrived late and they made
sure she had tea, which my sister-in-law thought she had missed! When I was speaking to her it was lovely to hear how people came to her room to check she was ok. She loves her room, and it is a huge relief to the family to know she will be able to settle and recover there.
It is my sadness I cannot thank all the staff personally for their kindness.

Where I have marked Good, I would have given very good if available. My wife can not join in many activities due to her situation. I do know a lot is on offer. I find the staff helpful and they inform me if my wife is not eating, overly tired or has a minor illness issue. The care my wife receives means
I know she is in good hands.

My husband entered the home at the end of August 2018. It was a difficult decision to make but with his advancing Alzheimer's, it became impossible to provide him with his care needs at home. The safe and pleasant environment, together with good staffing, have met my husband's requirements and I am
confident he is being well cared for. I visit the home regularly at various times of the day and everything is always satisfactory.

It's never easy making the decision to place the person you love into a home. I hung on and tried to do it all myself until it became clear that I could no longer provide the 24-hour care he needed to keep him safe and comfortable. Right from the first home visit to his stay at Roselyn he was was so
well cared for. Always clean and shaved and kept warm, safe, hydrated and fed properly. Nice clean ensuite room with plenty of space, Large wardrobe with hanging and folding space. Cabinets and plenty of drawers. Space to place a TV and aerial socket provided too. Big windows with nice outlook. Electric operated bed made positioning easy. Sensor pads are used to alert staff of possible dangers. Dementia is a terrible condition but the staff at Roselyn were so kind and compassionate, no matter what our needs we were both treated with dignity, respect and kindness. Thank you all so much for everything, nothing was too much trouble and I will never forget how much you helped us at a very difficult time.

Home was well run. My mother's room was very nice and had a good view. I always found the staff very friendly and helpful and my mother's dietary needs were catered for. It was always comfortably warm and my mother was always clean and dressed well. Rosalyn House made what was a difficult period a whole
lot easier. I was listened to by the nursing staff which is important.
