St Mary’s provides quality residential and nursing care, whilst also specialising in palliative, respite and post operative convalescence care. They also offer nursing care for people living with Parkinson's, Huntington's disease and dementia (dependent on need).

Residents have a choice of places to find company or quiet time – from the vintage café, comfortable lounges, to the lovingly tended gardens. With high ceilings, big rooms and sash windows, residents can enjoy ample light in a refreshing open environment.

Many staff have been at St Mary's for a long time; they enjoy getting to know residents and often build warm friendships with them.

The home is ideally located with Luton town just a short walk away, or you can hop on a bus right outside the home.

Dietary needs are discussed on arrival and incorporated into a menu of fresh seasonal produce, eaten in the bright and airy dining rooms or in the privacy of clients’ own bedrooms.

There’s a real sense of community at the home. The staff work to discover what residents enjoy doing and the home's social calendar is organised around those interests.

Games, outings and entertainments are all part of a varied activities programme, with the calendar including coffee mornings, beauty therapy, musical performances and a themed event each month.

Excellent help and advice from the manager made it run smoothly and quickly and took the stress away. My relative feels happy here. Lovely food and staff, he feels welcome and at home. The room was beautifully decorated for his arrival. Great all round.

My brother has spent eight years at St Mary's nursing home, and he has seen many changes, staff come and go but, the level of care has never changed. The staff are always caring and respectful to families as well as the residents. I must just say that the office staff who have been there for years are
wonderful and the present manageress has bent over backwards for my brother and I can say with all honesty that I am going to miss all the staff right down to the cleaners now that my brother has passed.
