Fees are subject to a pre-admission needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level
of care and support required by each individual. Premium rooms normally require an additional charge.
Nursing fees include the Funded Nursing Contribution (FNC) if you are eligible. There are no additional fees
for respite stays.

Please note, the weekly fee does not include hairdressing, chiropody or other healthcare visits or

other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

We would also like to thank you for the constructive feedback and I understand that since submitting your review you have spoken to the home manager about how good you feel the team are at the home, which is great to hear. Recruitment is a high priority for us and we pleased to have several new team members starting very soon. Over the last 6 months there has been no use of agency staff and this has been a huge benefit to residents and their continuity of care. Job Title: Home Manager
I believe that being a Home Manager is about creating a warm environment, not only for residents but also for those who work in the home or visit.
I joined Care UK because I appreciate their culture and ethos of supporting residents to live fulfilling lives.
Ensuring compliance is at the forefront of my work at Larkland House is an important part of my role, but I also like to be involved in the day-to-day lives of the residents and team. Seeing their smiling faces gives me a big sense of achievement.
If the team are happy, this reflects on the residents. I’m proud to work with incredible people who want to make a difference in people’s lives. It’s fantastic when this hard work is recognised. In a previous role, I won awards for Manager of the Year and Dementia Team of the Year.
Outside of work, I love to travel with my husband. Travelling is very important to us. Family is equally important, and any spare time is spent with my granddaughter.
