Credit where it's due. It must be the hardest decision in anyone's life to see their loved one's or lifelong friends put into care albeit for their well being and safety in old age.
We are absolutely delighted with our friends progress in just over two weeks of being in Queens Court, from where she
was in herself to where she is already is incredible.
Having met some of the kind selfless staff the common denominator is they clearly have one aim and that is to make the patient as happy and comfortable as physically possible catering for each individual's needs.
It is so lovely after a visit knowing our friend is in safe hands receiving the best possible care more so it is lovely to see her eyes smiling once again.
You can't put a price on a loved one's life.

Over the last couple of years I have visited this Care Home at least once a week. I have always found all the staff, whether carers, helpers, cleaners, reception, kitchen or anyone else, to be welcoming, friendly, smiling, helpful and efficient. My friend, who is a resident, says exactly the same and
is very happy there. Also she appreciates the meals which are tasty and varied. Any medical issues have been dealt with quickly with accompanied hospital visits if necessary.

I can't explain how well mum is looked after, the care and the time they take to talk to her, meaning the attention that she is receiving is enormous. To say thank you does not cover it all.
At the moment we are going into Christmas and again the attention to the decorations is wonderful, photos need
to be taken. Highly recommended.

Lovely caring staff, very patient. Can't do enough for their clients or the families that visit. After a few teething problems, which are to be expected in the beginning, were fixed everything is lovely. He is very well looked after.

Our father recently celebrated his 100th birthday for which the whole team provided a magnificent party for him, with family and other residents joining in with the fun. We have always found all the staff extremely polite, happy and caring towards ourselves and our father. We are certain he couldn't
be in a better care home and, when asked, he said he was very happy and couldn't fault it. Thank you to everyone.

What did we want from a care home? A warm welcome, not only because you have made, in my case, a heart-wrenching decision to place a loved one in care. From the moment we arrived, after a tough fourteen weeks in hospital we were greeted by the Queen's Court manager and her fantastic team. Three weeks
in and we take enormous comfort in the knowledge that everything is being done to make Mum comfortable and well cared for. Every need is catered for. Lovely surroundings, nice food, caring staff, enriched days with activities and we are kept well informed at every stage of Mum's welfare. The peace of mind for our family is immeasurable. Well done Queen's Court!

My mother has just had her 100th birthday and we held a celebration party at the home for family and friends. The staff made the day so special, they went out of their way to adapt to our needs and were so caring. I had so many positive comments about the lovely staff, how impressed they were with the

Queens Court is an excellent choice for your loved one. I drive away knowing he’s extremely well looked after and the staff there do their utmost best to ensure every need is met.

My mum has been at Queen's court care home for just over 2 years now.
She is very well cared for and is very happy here.
My sister and I visit her regularly and are always welcomed by lovely friendly staff.
They keep us informed of any health issues she may have.
The nurses and carers are all
very approachable and helpful with any questions we may have.
And there are plenty of activities to do if she chooses to join in.
We celebrated her 80th birthday last year with all the family, and were able to use a room downstairs for us to all be with her.

The team at Queen's have been absolutely wonderful and welcoming to my elderly mum. The staff are very caring and this has helped Mum settle in more quickly. In a short space of time Mum has got to know the carers and staff and she has commented that she feels very safe and secure. There is a wonderful
day room with a large television which she loves to sit in. The home also has excellent activities for residents and a wonderful hairdresser. At a difficult time this really is a home from home.

A few days ago I was invited to a private secret meeting at Queens Court Care Home, I was told to dress smart and come hungry. Little did I know that the invite was to have a romantic meal with my husband. The staff had gone out of their way to set it up four 4 sets of couples. They created a lovely
setting and a lovely 3 course meal unfortunately the meal was for meat me being a vegetarian however that was not a problem for the chef he cooked me a lovely piece of salmon nothing was too much for them. They gave all the ladies a red rose from their partners.
The reason behind the evening was to show that just because we as a couple are separated due to ill health it's not easy to take your partner out to a restaurant as it to difficult and confusing for them.
It was such a lovely thought and very much appreciated and all had a lovely time. Thank you to all the staff. Thank you.

Although my sister in law has only been in the home since May myself, my husband and the rest of the family are very pleased with the care that are sister gets. The nurses, carers and the rest of the staff are so caring, polite and very welcoming to us when we visit. Nothing is to much trouble. We are

Job Title: Home Manager

I’ve been part of the Care UK family for nearly 16 years now.


Previously I was a Home Manager at another Care UK home where I led the home to achieve an overall ‘Outstanding’ rating from our internal governance team. My career includes working as a registered nurse in my native Poland, and as a paramedic, and I’ve even trained with the Army.


I am passionate about creating an environment that supports the independence of residents with one clear goal in mind: providing the best care. I relish making residents happy and comfortable as well as supporting the team to do their best work. Teamwork is vital in a setting like this.
