Glebelands Care Home in Wokingham is one of the most impressive homes for older people in the county of Berkshire. The care home provides highest quality residential care and nursing care in a beautiful setting.

A stunning Grade II listed building set within its own beautiful and expansive grounds, the home not only delivers exceptional residential and nursing care to its residents, it also provides an exceptional quality of life and sense of well-being.

The location of the home exceeds all expectations, with rolling neatly trimmed meadows surrounded by wildlife filled woodlands, the residents often wake up to bird song and views of roaming deer.

Despite this rural feel and sense of living deep within the countryside, it is just a short walk from the heart of the charming market town of Wokingham; ensuring many of the residents are frequent visitors to the tea shops and cafes which they enjoy with their loved ones or fellow residents and staff from the home.

Glebelands Care Home in Wokingham does not deliver care and support to those living with dementia instead focusing on providing exceptional residential and nursing care. Friendly and helpful staff - always very accommodating when we visit with our six year old without prior notice. Welcomed for lunch with my grandmother and taken care of.
Great family friendly new coffee shop with children's activity corner.
Really encourages socialising for families and residents.
Lovely well kept grounds. My grandmother is well cared for and supported there.

Finding a care home for your loved one is a nightmare. I was so lucky to be introduced to Glebelands. My mother was looked after for fifteen months with compassion and dignity and the staff showing a can-do attitude at all times. Not only did they care for mum but the family too which at times was needed
and appreciated. A truly special place.

Glebelands has a lovely friendly atmosphere. All staff, from the receptionist to the management, to all care staff are approachable, friendly and helpful. Our mum's very happy and her care there's excellent. Any small issues we have had have been dealt with promptly and with kindness.

My Mother spent just over two weeks at Glebelands for much-needed respite care following surgery. She had a super room, first class care including nursing, lots of activities each day and excellent food. All the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable and treated my Mum with the utmost respect. Glebelands
is in a stunning setting too. She now lives in a self-contained flat adjacent to the care home. A perfect outcome!

Following foot surgery I spent 16 nights at Glebelands for full respite care. The care (including nursing) that I received was excellent. Good choice of meals, plenty of activities every day. My room was spacious and comfortable and all staff were excellent.

All our staff strive to ensure the individuality and privacy of residents in which their care, well-being, and comfort are of the utmost importance. Staff are understanding of the ever-changing needs of our residents and encourage everyone to remain individual within a warm and caring atmosphere.
