This beautiful care & nursing home has been supporting the local community of Aylesbury for over 10 years, offering skilled and responsive nursing, residential and dementia care. Residents and their relatives value the Westgate Healthcare family ethos and warm relationships that Hampden Hall achieves.

All ensuite bedrooms are generously sized enabling residents to personalise them as they wish and providing staff with the space to safely support each resident as needed.

My brother has only been a resident for a couple of weeks. He has settled in well. I am very happy with the care he is receiving. All the staff I've come across have been helpful and always have a smile to greet me. Many thanks.

My husband has just moved into Hampden Hall after transferring from 2 years care in another home. He has vascular dementia and Alzheimer's and is only 72 years old. Since his move he seems more relaxed and I feel the care he is now having is so much better. The staff are very caring and attentive and
I can see a difference in his behaviour. He is joining in with the activities and I am confident he is getting excellent care. I cannot believe how much better this is for all the family.

Excellent care home. Great staff, good clean facilities. Always showed respect to my mother at all times and took care of her individual needs. Special thanks to the 1st floor staff. Three staff members attended funeral which shows class and such dedication and genuine care.

Mum has settled in after a difficult adjustment which has been because of the fantastic, friendly, and fun caring team on the floor.
The whole team truly care for their residents and when leaving Mum I know she continues to get the very best care.

The receptionist remembered my name and everyone who entered the building. The staff were very attentive not just to my sister's needs but also mine.

My mother has been in the care of Hampden Hall Care Centre on Cedar Unit since January 2018. In all this time the kindness and level of care has been exemplary. The whole team are very gentle with her and are clearly very fortunate that her last years have been there.

Simply excellent is fitting for all my experiences at Hampden Hall Care Centre. The staff are friendly, courteous and attentive. I have only experienced kind and courteous correspondence and telephone calls. Hampden Hall is clean, bright and tastefully furnished. I can rest assured my father is in excellent

My elderly Father has been here following a stroke which had left him physically and mentally impaired. The care he has received has been wonderful. The staff are so helpful and caring. They had a party for his 90th birthday and hold many other activities. They encourage Dad to join in and bring him
into the lounge area. The home is kept spotlessly clean and is decorated nicely. They are also very caring and thoughtful towards his visitors, offering us cups of tea etc when it can be quite difficult to see your Dad like that. They keep me well informed on his medical condition too. Very happy with the home.

Hampden Hall Care Centre, we felt very lucky we were offered this clean, friendly, caring home for our beloved bed bound 98-year-old Mum. She was fed, helped to drink, in fact, everything. Always dressed in clean clothes, she was showered and her hair done with patience and care. She didn't like being
messed about. Nursing care was also super, I was always kept informed, and steps were always taken to receive doctors' advice when needed. Food was prepared for her needs, snacks and drinks were plentiful. Mum didn't use the social side, wasn't conscious enough while there. On many occasions, the activities staff sat with me asking how they could include her in anything. Housekeeping amazing again very friendly. Laundry was dealt with, clothing always came back. An unmarked blanket she went in with was again washed and found when asked. I never saw any dirt/dust. Toilet for visitors kept beautifully clean, as Mum's room was. Maintenance amazing, mum's pictures, wall bracket for TV tuned and set up. Again nothing too much trouble,

Mum has been in Hampden Hall for 7 weeks. After her initial apprehension and anxiety of leaving her own home, where she lived alone, she is now thriving - making new friends and taking part in activities. This month was Mum's birthday and the home laid on a tea party for her, she felt very special.

We had to ask social services to find 24x7 care for our 92-year-old friend who is suffering with pancreatic cancer. We are overwhelmed by the environment, activities, and personal service provided by the whole team at Hampden Hall. We couldn’t have left our precious friend in better hands. Such a

I highly rate the majority of staff that I have interacted with during the time my loved one has been in Hampden Hall.

Although my uncle only enjoyed a brief stay with you, we were both heartened by the care and empathy he received. We noted that someone had taken the time to trim his nails which had been sadly neglected in his hospital stay.

The receptionist always greens us with a smile and welcome. She knows our names and who we have to come to visit after the first visit. The staff seem to enjoy their work. At any time you can approach and enjoy their work. At any time you can approach them, they are helpful. The family member we visit
always looks well cared for and respected which must be difficult as they have dementia. The home is clean and quiet and does not have unpleasant odours.

Very good reception area and personnel. Inconsistency with dressing my husband, especially if he isn't well ie has a chest infection. I would like him to have his vest on in winter, and a cardigan or long-sleeved top, sometimes he only has a short-sleeved shirt on. Otherwise, I am satisfied with his
well-being.

Juliana

Juliana Mensah

Job Title: Home Manager

Joined: 2009

Juliana has worked with Westgate Healthcare since 2009, starting as a Unit Manager. Her work ethic, dedication and compassion led to a natural progression to Home Manager at our sister home, St Pauls. In 2021 Juliana became Home Manager at Hampden Hall and we are delighted to have her as part of the team.


Her passion for care and dedication to her residents make Juliana a wonderful asset to the team and she looks forward to leaving her mark at Hampden Hall.
