This beautiful care & nursing home has been supporting the local community of Aylesbury for over 10 years, offering skilled and responsive nursing, residential and dementia care. Residents and their relatives value the Westgate Healthcare family ethos and warm relationships that Hampden Hall achieves.

All ensuite bedrooms are generously sized enabling residents to personalise them as they wish and providing staff with the space to safely support each resident as needed.

This care home was used by my mother for respite care following a series of falls. They helped her to regain her strength and maintained her health. The medical attention was particularly good.

Friendly, caring staff working within a pressured environment. Always felt my father was well cared for and I could happily leave him. Ample activities and interaction with staff and visitors. Very clean with a lovely bright and sunny bedroom. Always greeted with a smile and a friendly face. Thank you.

Hampden Hall was the home of my mother from January 2013 to January 2019. The staff are friendly and approachable and always on hand if needed. The rooms are bright and airy and resident's personal items of furniture are allowed if requested. Relatives are always kept up to date with any changes that
may occur during their resident's stay.

From the first telephone call to one staff member to the day my mum passed away in the home in January 10th, all of the staff were efficient, professional and caring. Food first class, room immaculate. Staff couldn't do enough for mum or visiting family.
Would recommend the home for beyond our expectations.
A big thank you to all concerned.

My husband was looked after compassionately for the whole 12 months that he was a resident of Hampden Hall. He was bathed and fed even when he was unable to do anything for himself. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff - carers and nursing.

My husband, who had dementia, lived at Hampden Hall for nearly three years. To begin with, his behaviour was extremely demanding, eventually, he needed a great deal of nursing care. At all times, the staff who cared for him showed genuine affection, respected his dignity and did everything they could
to give him the best possible quality of life. The managers were very approachable, good at keeping the family involved and had what always appeared to be a happy team. There was a good activities programme and the food all homemade - was excellent and plentiful.

I found the management and reception staff very helpful when we first enquired.

Although Mum was only in Hampden hall for a few months I can't imagine that we could have found a better place for her. All of the staff treated us all with kindness and respect. Mum was very well looked after. A clean secure and safe environment. I am extremely grateful to all of the staff for the

My husband was in the home for almost nine months. In all that time, he was treated with kindness and compassion. My mum moved into the home six years ago and stayed until she passed away on September 10th.
I couldn't have asked for better care for my mum.
The staff were amazing and very hard working. I will never be able to say enough thank you's for all the care, kindness, compassion and laughter they gave

My uncle has been in respite here for a month. He looked clean, nicely shaved and was well-fed. He was happy and relaxed and liked sitting in the big communal lounge and being able to see the treed all around the outside.

Right from the first day, he went to live at Hampden Hall and every day after, right up to the day he passed away, every side member of staff gave him the best care he could have. All the staff were very caring and considerate to myself and the rest of his family.
I would certainly recommend to anyone
that Hampden Hall would be the best place to look after their loved one.

Seven years ago I looked at five Nursing Homes before selecting Hampden Hall to look after my wife. Why Hampden Hall? What impressed me was the happy atmosphere amongst the staff. You all seemed to have a lovely friendly team spirit. I believed that a happy team would give better care and over the last
seven years, you have proved me right. I could have asked for nothing better than the care with which you looked after her. As a visitor, I was always made to feel I was amongst friends. This is the soft side of caring. It really matters and made my time with my wife so much better.

My mother aged 88 had multiple medical conditions and was bedridden for the 15 months she was at the home. Home was the correct word to use as my mother was made to feel that this was her home. The love, care and support she received made her life at the home as comfortable as it could be. Visitors
to her home were always welcomed most warmly and nothing was too much trouble. I highly commend the home to anyone considering a nursing home.

My wife was transferred to Hampden Hall from another home in June 2017 as they were not set up to give her the specialist dementia care she needed. I was impressed with the patience and understanding shown to her by the nursing/caring staff, particularly as the condition progressed towards the end of
her life. The room and food were of a good standard and I would recommend this home if asked in future.

Juliana Mensah

Job Title: Home Manager

Joined: 2009

Juliana has worked with Westgate Healthcare since 2009, starting as a Unit Manager. Her work ethic, dedication and compassion led to a natural progression to Home Manager at our sister home, St Pauls. In 2021 Juliana became Home Manager at Hampden Hall and we are delighted to have her as part of the team.


Her passion for care and dedication to her residents make Juliana a wonderful asset to the team and she looks forward to leaving her mark at Hampden Hall.
