Our mum has been so well taken care of since she first arrived 2.5 years ago. As well as our dad before he passed away. The carers do just that. They care and treat Mum with respect even in undignified moments. It's not been easy to accommodate all the various needs during this Covid era, and the home
adapts calmly and considerately without exception.

My grandmother has been a resident for nearly 12 years - she turns 100 in September this year, and that is surely down in no small part to the care that she receives each and every day. Most of all, the staff have supported her to retain as much of her fierce drive for independence as possible and made
sure that she can do as much as possible for herself for as long as possible. As time has gone by, she does need more help with day-to-day stuff, but the wonderful team have very quietly and unobtrusively stepped in to help her where necessary and respected her independence where feasible. Although hard of hearing these days, she is mobile and likes to participate in quizzes and balloon tennis tournaments and loves to sit out in the wonderful garden, which is a real feature of the home.
Most of all, I know that she is safe and well cared for, and although I visit regularly, it is such a relief to know that she is in good hands at this stage of her life. Thank you!

I really value the team at Signature for their care of my godmother. They are keen to build relationships with the relatives as well as, of course, the residents and look for opportunities to engage in different ways recognising we are all different. On her 95th birthday, the team baked and presented
a cake while singing happy birthday and giving a card and present. We were both really touched by this.
I appreciate the monthly relatives' meetings, which give us a chance to find out what is happening in the home, what changes might be coming and to address any general issues we might have. These are followed up by minutes of the meeting, and actions are addressed.

Although I did not get a key to my room, I found my stay at Signature very comfortable and enjoyable. All staff and carers were very helpful. All activities were very good and enjoyed "quiz" nights, classical music, exercise class etc. Sitting in the garden was particularly good. Did not get a chance
to use the SPA! The entertainment at Signature was very good. Vegetarian food needs improving (limited choice).

I have had two weeks of care, and having been here before, it was so good to be welcomed back by so many of the staff and carers. I have enjoyed the activities, especially the quizzes in the evenings, which were great fun. Nothing has been a problem - the carers are so kind and helpful. The food has
been very good and has made me put on unwanted weight! I wouldn't hesitate to come back if the need arose. I go home with very mixed feelings - will miss the company and service!

Excellent care all-round for my mum with a touch of style. Some lovely people. The manager was helpful from day one, another lady was brilliant, just to praise a couple of the great staff. From day one of seeking respite leading to permanent care for my mother, I have been impressed with the professionalism, sensitivity and support shown by all members of staff I have met. The rooms, food, facilities, service and activities reflect high standards. Placing a loved one into care is daunting
and emotional, and there will naturally be some teething problems as they settle in, but any concerns have been swiftly addressed.

Following a knee operation, I needed respite care, and I spent ten wonderful days in Sunrise Living at Beaconsfield. My room was spacious and comfortable, and the dining room and the quality of the food are five stars, but of course, by far the most important aspect is the staff, and I cannot speak
highly enough of the care I received during the ten days I was there. The staff are all absolutely wonderful, nothing is too much trouble, and the care given to all the residents could not be better. When my husband and I are in need of permanent residential care, we shall look no further than Sunrise in Beaconsfield!

Many years ago, my father and I looked for a long time around care homes for my mother, until we finally found Sunrise.
When, in August 2020, my father decided that it was time for him to have residential care, he was confident that Sunrise was the place for him. And so it has proved.
Throughout this
pandemic, the staff have continued to be totally committed to his wellbeing; he has remained physically well; if frustrated at being isolated for a while. The staff have remained friendly and positive despite the huge strain they must have been under.
I have no hesitation in recommending Sunrise to anyone.

All the team at Sunrise are professional and caring to their residents and potential residents, from the team that first took my enquiry, to the team involved in the day to day care of my father and even the lady in finance. While dad was there, the team charged with the day to daycare and did everything

My mother went into Sunrise just as lockdown was happening supposedly on respite whilst my father was in hospital. We ended up extending and when my father was able to come and join her for only a couple of weeks, they made every effort that Mother was kept occupied and kept them together until the
inevitable. She is still in Sunrise and they are helping her come to terms with what the future holds. It really cannot be easy especially when visits are limited by family, so the use of technology has been key in seeing relatives and friends. It is a difficult job, and hats off to the team from the management, down to the care teams, and keeping my mother happy with the foods she loves. She seems to have a really healthy appetite! Keeping residents happy and active I am sure has been a stretch of imagination, but the resourcefulness of the team has seen them through. Can't wait until all activities are back on the cards and my mother will love it.

I went into Sunrise for a 2-week respite holiday during the lockdown, so the activities were limited to indoors, now outings or outside contact (relatives or friends). Sunrise could not have been more supportive.

My Mother has been a resident of Sunrise of Beaconsfield for about three years. She is very well cared for by the delightful, caring and lovely staff. Everyone is kind, friendly and helpful. The management team are easy to talk over any issues with and very knowledgeable on how to cater for people
who are in their sunset years. As well as catering for physical needs, the mental and social needs of the residents is also cared for. Things are noticed, for example if people do not eat much or avoid meals or if they are spending too much time in their rooms alone, they are encouraged to eat more and engage in the social activities. The social activities are varied, my Mother likes the Friday afternoon poetry classes (curtailed now because of Covid 19) and the films, and is playing bingo for the first time in her life! She took a few weeks to settle into the home, which is not unusual as it is such a lifestyle change but is now very happy there.

I started out on my journey as a Dementia Care Manager in 2017. Since then, I have had the privilege to serve both Dementia and Assisted Living neighbourhoods as a Care Manager. I have been proud to lead and work alongside the amazing care team who have had a genuine passion for care and always put our resident's needs first.

I have worked within the care sector for over 12 years. For the past years, I have managed the Assisted Living neighbourhood and am now delighted to have been offered the opportunity to run the Dementia Care neighbourhood. Signature at Beaconsfield has provided me with the opportunity to progress during my time at home and over the past 5 years I have completed my NVQ Level 5 in Management in Care Settings.


I am very proud to be the Dementia Care Manager for Signature at Beaconsfield. I am very proud to be part of the team here at Beaconsfield. We always ensure that we deliver five-star service in every department, this was particularly highlighted throughout the pandemic as we recognised it was such a difficult time for residents, families and the staff.


The team spent a lot of time re-assuring residents and kept them mentally and physically stimulated and of course, our resident's safety was and is still the top priority. Our Concierge team run evening activities such as Cheese & Wine nights, Bingo and Quizzes which our residents love! I work closely with residents and their families to ensure that all enjoy dining experiences and that each resident has a nutritional meal plan to suit their needs.

I joined the Beaconsfield Heights team as an Activities Assistant, where I developed a strong passion for enhancing the daily lives of our residents, through engaging and meaningful activities. I am now delighted to have been promoted to the position of Activities Manager. As Activities Manager I am driven to provide all of our residents with a person centred approach to their day, taking time to get to know every resident, who they are, what is important to them and enabling us to offer tailored, enjoyable and purposeful activities. I am supported by a wonderful team, who share my passion and form genuine and caring relationships with all of our residents and their families and friends.

Having previously worked in Care Administration being given the opportunity to work for at Beaconsfield is wonderful. I have enjoyed getting to know all the residents, families and colleagues. It is my passion to support various day-to-day administration for the Home; Human Resources, and financial functions and work with the team to provide our residents and their families with the support and assistance they require.


Having an open-door policy, I am very happy to be working within such a beautiful home with a friendly atmosphere and dedicated people, who deliver excellent care.

Job Title: Maintenance Co-ordinator

I have worked in the care sector for many years and really enjoy maintaining the home to the high standards that our residents and their families expect.


My role covers many aspects including the safety of our residents, appearance internally & externally, the ambience of our garden and general maintenance.


When new residents arrive, I ensure their rooms are prepared for them and are on hand to hang pictures and many other little jobs to ensure they soon feel right at home.
