My husband receives a very high level of care and his needs are very well catered for.

My uncle was a nursing resident for 2 weeks respite. As our mother (his sister) was already a resident we knew the standard of care was very high. The staff treated my uncle with the utmost respect and kindness. He was involved in many of the activities and was able to do things he has never done before
(bowling, scrabble). Every single member of the team made him welcome and cared for his every need, Excellence from everyone every day.

We used Milton Court for my mother for 5 weeks support after a serious fall. The efficiency and administration of the support package were excellent. Her stay was comfortable, care was very good and the food and facilities were excellent. The only issue was that my mother's neck brace was not changed
as often as required, but that was the only concern. Staff are caring and compassionate.

My 93 year old aunt was admitted to Milton Court some two years ago following a stroke. She was unable to live independently after it and the family had to make a decision to sell her house and admit her to a care home. Being unfamiliar with the area, we spent a great deal of time researching the available
care homes. This one with its memory care floor and dedicated staff fitted what was needed for my aunt's well-being and although we had to wait for a place for a few weeks we haven't regretted the decision. The home passes 'the sniff test' with flying colours, has a good reputation among health professionals and is recommended by other residents' relatives. The staff are well-trained and compassionate and treat the residents with dignity and understanding. The catering, hairdressing and podiatry facilities are excellent as are the activities provided throughout the year and the residents are encouraged to be involved as much as possible. Many thanks to everyone at Milton Court.

Milton Court made my mother extremely welcome from the outset. Her carers inspired confidence and were more than kind. My mother absolutely loved the people who looked after her and they became her extended family, nothing was too much trouble for them.


The home put on a variety of activities and

visits which my mother thoroughly enjoyed and she truly had a new lease of life when she went there at a time when her body was beginning to fail her.


As a home from home, my mother had a bright and sunny comfortable room with a quiet aspect. The food was outstanding and although tiny, my mother took full advantage of it all. When my mother became more needy, every type of equipment was acquired to improve her quality of life.


I would like to thank everyone there (you know who you are) for making an elderly lady very happy and as comfortable as possible in the last phase of her life.

My mother came to Milton Court from hospital initially for respite care and then became a resident. The care she received was exceptional from all of the staff.
Nothing was ever too much trouble and there was always a member of staff available to deal with any issues.
My mother always praised the
food which I was surprised at as she is normally very fussy. There is a very friendly atmosphere and I was particularly impressed with the relationship the staff had with the residents.

What a breath of air Milton Court has been after some previous bad experiences in other homes.
The staff are so patient and compassionate, everything is kept spotless throughout the home. The activities team are exceptional and the equipment all works. We are impressed to be greeted by everyone working
in the home. Love the lounge facilities and the light and airy feel of the rooms.

Both my father and my mother-in-law were residents of Milton Court, the former for five months and the latter for two. As a family, we were very pleased with both the courtesy and respect shown to both parents and family alike. The nursing staff kept us fully up to date with day to day changes and any
medical procedures that were required and front office staff were always outgoing and informative. Both parents have now passed away, but the understanding of all the staff was very much appreciated.

I stayed at Milton Court for two weeks respite care following my knee replacement operation. I cannot praise the staff highly enough for their care and concern for my welfare. I felt valued, safe and comfortable enabling me to concentrate on getting stronger. The atmosphere at Milton Court is positive

My aunt moved into the Residential Dementia Unit in Milton Court in early 2018, following a stay in hospital. She suffers from unspecified dementia and is at high risk of falls, so living alone at home was no longer a realistic option.
Prior to her admission, I visited numerous care homes in and around
Milton Keynes and reviewed the CQC reports. This one was top of my shortlist, based on the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, the variety of activities available and the cleanliness and layout of the home.
Since she moved in, I have been highly impressed by all the staff involved in her care, due to their attentiveness, patience and encouragement. They have promptly relayed any concerns, provided accurate updates on her progress and nothing has ever been too much trouble. They have surpassed my expectations and other visitors have commented on how impressed they were with the staff and facility. I would highly recommend Milton Court to anyone in a similar situation as the staff are amazing.

My Mum has been a resident of Milton Court for almost a year. Initially, she was in a residential unit for those with dementia. She settled very well and the staff were very caring. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was good, lots of lovely cakes and pastries in the afternoon. When a nursing room
was required it was organised very quickly. Again, the staff have been very caring and nothing is too much trouble.


I feel confident that my Mum is safe, well cared for and content. The rooms are good, nicely furnished and always clean, in fact, the whole home is very clean. The laundry service is excellent too. All in all, it is a care home that I would recommend to anyone.

The staff are great, always answer any questions and are always cheerful. I am so pleased we found this lovely place for my 97-year-old dad. To

Dad has been living in the residential floor for just over a year. He helped choose Milton Court after we visited several care homes in the area. We found the staff so very friendly and welcoming and this makes a huge difference. Dad likes the additional hand rails in his lavatory. Which is a good wet
room and has a fold down shower seat. The staff are outstandingly dedicated and are well-selected carers. Dad chooses to eat in his room but the restaurant is bright and fresh. There is a team of staff that organise trips and entertainment so there is always something going on. There is a new hair salon and a visiting hairdresser which is very good. I am very happy knowing dad is in safe hands.

My parents moved into Milton Court over 12 months ago and during that time I have been impressed by the friendliness and caring nature of the all the staff; carers, managers and office/reception. We have recently gone through the first annual review of their care and I was impressed by the detail recorded
of all aspects of their day to day lives and health issues. My parents always hoped to end their days in there own home but a variety of issues made them realise they needed help available when problems arose. It is a great comfort to know how well they are cared for and to see and hear about them enjoying various activities and outings. With Avery winning not one but two awards this year for Best Care Home Provider it has reinforced my confidence that they are in safe and caring hands.

My father-in-law came to Milton Court Care Home for end-of-life care in early August. His care was funded by NHS continuing health care. He was very poorly with leukemia and had been moved from a hospice. After 11 days, he sadly passed away, but during that time he was treated without exception with
care, compassion, and respect. As a family, we could not have wished for more. All the staff were absolutely wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. Although my father-in-law was unable to use the facilities, we could see they were excellent. Many thanks.

My aim is to ensure Sandringham is run well and efficiently. I work with all health professionals to make sure that residents are supported. I also make sure the shift runs smoothly, working with the team to give our residents the best quality of life.
