The family have been overwhelmed by the kindness and consideration given to a sometimes difficult resident. They have taken the trouble to assess her individual needs and interests to tailor her care package accordingly. We are confident and reassured she is getting the best possible care and send a

I'm happy my relative is happy, safe and well cared for. The staff have been responsive to questions and concerns.
I appreciate the activities that take place and the photos taken to show what they have been up to. During Covid times it was lovely to see our relative in photos having fun.

My husband has only been at the care home for a week. I have nothing but praise for this home. The staff are very welcoming, cheerful and professional. They really have the residents' welfare best interests at heart, with plenty of activities to keep them occupied. Light spacious rooms and a safe garden.

My dear friend has been a resident in Westbury Grange for over 3 years. He has always been happy there and, although his health is now deteriorating, I feel the staff there are very caring and respectful towards him. Everyone there has been so helpful, especially during Covid times, and as his essential
caregiver, I have been kept up to date with all the guidelines. I am so grateful to everyone for all their hard work and care.

My mother-in-law is very happy living here, they do lots of different activities to keep her stimulated and active.
The care she receives is brilliant, nothing is too much trouble.
The staff are caring and very friendly, we are kept informed with what is going on.
All the residents have been kept
safe during Covid.

My mum became a resident at Westbury Grange last year when she needed 24/7 care. Initially, we had a zoom chat with the manager and were shown the facilities including the room which would be hers. This was very helpful and enabled us to discuss Mum’s needs and the guidelines which they follow to keep
Mum safe. We are extremely pleased that she has settled in well. The staff are highly professional but very warm and approachable. There are lots of activities to keep the residents occupied. The facilities are of a very high standard and so is the food which Mum loves. It is wonderful that they have two huge rabbits which she loves to cuddle. Mum particularly likes having her hair done and her nails manicured. We were able to enjoy visits with Mum until the recent Covid outbreak. My brother is the designated Essential Family Carer and keeps the family up to date. We are so looking forward to being able to visit her again soon, but it is reassuring to know that Mum is being well looked after.

All the staff have been really helpful and supportive of my family's needs. My nan has been treated extremely well. The services provided are great. The care of their residents is their priority, especially with all the Covid restrictions.

Mum is very well cared for in Westbury Grange. The manager and the staff are amazing - kind, respectful and so caring. There are lots of activities organised, the rooms are very well cleaned and maintained. The food is of a high standard and has plenty of variety. Pre-Covid, we could visit any time.
Even through Covid, staff have tried to facilitate visits from family when regulations allowed. They are never too busy to chat with family members in Westbury or those of us visiting. We have been so fortunate to have found Westbury Grange and know that Mum is in excellent hands.

My mother has been at Westbury Grange for three years and from the start, she has been happy and settled there. I know she feels safe and well cared for by the staff. The pandemic has had a huge impact on everyone and I miss the community aspect of visiting her, i.e. interacting with other residents
and their families, but I think Westbury have done their utmost to keep going through all of this.

My dad has now been in Westbury for ten months. The staff always keep me informed of his medical and personal needs.
Because of Covid restrictions, I am currently only able to visit my 96-year-old father weekly, in his room. (I am his next of kin and attorney). He needs 24-hour nursing care, but he
always seems happy, despite his severe dementia and deafness!
He appears to be well looked after and I think he is happy and very settled in his present caring environment.
I cycle past, most days, to leave Dad a newspaper and wave to him, where he sits, looking out of the first-floor window.
I look forward to being able to take him out again, in a wheelchair for some fresh air, in future visits, please.
It is difficult to comment on food/drink, as I have no knowledge of that. However, Dad appears well fed!
A big thank you to all the amazing team at Westbury Grange, for looking after my dad.

Mum is now 98 and has been at Westbury Grange for four years. Throughout my mother's time at Westbury Grange, the care and attention given by the friendly staff at all levels have been first class and she is always treated with dignity. Food is freshly prepared on-site with several choices for all meals
and portions to suit individual needs. There are ample and varied activities provided and residents are encouraged to attend as many as possible. Music themed activities are very popular.
The flexibility, hard work and dedication shown by all staff during the recent protracted and demanding Covid pandemic are to be highly commended.
I will not hesitate to recommend Westbury Grange to anyone who is contemplating placing a relative in their care.

My mum has been at Westbury since May 2021 when her dementia worsened and we could no longer care for her at home. The staff have been so caring towards Mum and the extended family. As a result of Covid, it has been a tricky time but my brothers and I have felt Mum has always been cared for and has
been surrounded by love and plenty of activities to keep her stimulated and interested in life. A huge thank you to everyone.

Mum seems happy and settled here. The activities are really good and Mum likes to join in. She says the food is good and all the staff are very nice. Unfortunately with the visiting restrictions due to Covid, which have been in place since Mum came to the home back in July, I feel I haven't really had
the opportunity to get the full experience of the home or had the opportunity to get to know the staff, but from what I have seen so far I'm happy that Mum is receiving a good standard of care.

I am happy with the care my mum receives. As visiting has been limited during the pandemic perhaps general updates about Mum could have been provided to the family. However, I appreciate that it has been very difficult for those running and working in care homes during the pandemic. Specific issues
about Mum such as falls and being ill the family were promptly notified about.

The staff have worked really hard during the past two years to look after Mum, she has received excellent care. The care staff have gone out of their way to build a relationship with her and I know she counts many of them as friends. They have gone above and beyond their jobs, for instance, one member
of the care staff even took items of my mum's clothes home to alter in her own time so they fitted her better.
The management and staff have kept me up to date on the latest Covid visiting protocols and guided me through all the testing hoops we have to jump through to arrange visits. Any time there has been an issue regarding Mum's health or wellbeing they have contacted me to discuss the issue.
I am very grateful for the outstanding care Mum has received from the management and members of staff at Westbury Grange under what must have been the most challenging of circumstances.

My Mum came into Westbury Grange initially for emergency respite care. Due to Covid, it has been very hard not to be able to hug her and be with her but we can see that she is well and calm. She tells us that she likes the food and the carers are very kind and patient. She has plenty of company which
she had been missing and she has made some friends. We have also been reassured by our contact with the Manager of the home and the Senior Care Staff who are both professional and very human in their approach. Staff have facilitated video calls with Mum which have helped her and us to cope with this new situation. The Administrator has also been helpful and efficient, responding to requests for information and enabling window visits and now bookings for the indoor visiting pod. We have had to make Mum's stay permanent but we are confident that she is in good hands. We look forward to more normal times when family and friends can visit and when the usual activities are possible once more.

At the outset, on meeting the home's manager I felt my mother would be in good hands. Everyone is so caring. A particular feature is their use of music therapy, in the form of group sessions and 1-1, which was great for mum. And on top of all that: a steady supply of pink wafer biscuits! A wonderful
place for her to end her days. Thank you, everyone.
