The home has an emphasis on person-centred care and staff are trained to build relationships and ensure residents can continue with their preferred way of living. My mother has been on the nursing unit at Wesbury Grange since mid January. She came here after spending a month in hospital from an acute stroke. Prior to this she was a resident in Wesbury Grange on the Dementia Unit. Since my mothers return to Westbury her care has been excellent. She has been treated
with dignity and respect in a loving manner. Many of the staff from her old unit still call in to see her providing a family feel. Her symptoms have been dealt with and I am very impressed with the care she has received.

This is a very well organised and run care home.
Clean, welcoming, homely, friendly, a happy place where the management and team really do care.
The staff treated my father as an individual, helping and encouraging him to keep his independence and make his own choices.
He was always treated with
respect and dignity and the team went out of their way to make him happy.
The standard of care is outstanding and the care team are a credit to their profession.
My father was only in Westbury for just over 23 weeks when, unfortunately, he died but I cannot thank the management and staff enough for the way they looked after dad and the love, support and compassion they showed us.

My mum was in Westbury for 2 and a half years during which time they encouraged her to join in with activities whilst she was able to do so. Even when she had deteriorated and was bed-bound she was always well looked after. The manager was exceptional in the way she kept us informed of changing circumstances.

They are extremely helpful and very understanding.

I believe that the staff, at all levels, are doing the best they can to care for my father, with compassion, respect and dignity. They have always been accessible and willing to listen and respond appropriately. Despite the high cost of keeping him there, I feel confident that he is as safe and comfortable
as he can be with his health and welfare needs and am very grateful to those who are involved with him.

We feel very lucky and blessed that we found a place for mum at Westbury Grange. The success of Westbury Grange is due to the manager and of course her staff. Mum has settled in really well during the almost 7 months she has been cared for at Westbury Grange.

My husband moved into Westbury Grange a couple of months ago.
The management were so helpful and have been ever since and are always seen around the home.
All the staff we have come into contact with are warm and friendly.
Westbury is very clean and homely, and nothing is too much trouble.
My husband
has settled in well but this is because of the excellent, very efficient, dignified care he receives and all with a smile.

The range of activities on offer is very good and this has helped to lift my mother's mood. I would certainly recommend anyone needing nursing

I was much impressed when I moved him on the day. Staff were welcoming. They met him in his room and introduced themselves to us. It is a very homely environment. Staff always have time when he needs help. Care is excellent. Staff are very approachable, especially the home Manager, deputy and senior
nurse. All staff have good communication skills. Church activities are held and other activities.

From the moment we first met the home manager, I knew we would be in good hands. The carers and staff are kind, considerate, caring, hard-working, professional individuals who informed us regularly of our mother's health and well being. There isn't anything that is too much trouble. Light, airy and
friendly are the words I would use to describe the home. All the rooms are bright and spacious, with communal areas used effectively for company and activities such as singing and pastimes. My family and I are pleased to have found such a homely home.

Everyone is very friendly and I am always contacted regarding my brother's health if he sees a doctor or when medication is needed. The room could do with decorating, paint peeling on the wall.

All the staff (Reception/Management/Carers/Nurses/Cleaners/Kitchen) are 100% professional. They all know my wife's name and are all caring and kind. After a long time caring for my wife at home I can now relax knowing she is being well looked after. Credit to the Manager on running this superb home.

My mother has dementia and it was a difficult time before she moved to Westbury Grange. Her move to Westbury Grange was handled with kindness and understanding for her and us. She has settled in well, enjoys the company and care and the activities on offer. All the staff are kind and professional and
she says every visit "That all staff are very good". We feel very blessed that she is a resident at Westbury Grange.

I looked at several homes for my mother who suffers from memory loss/vascular dementia. I chose this home because it seemed airy and bright. The staff were all very friendly and obviously had a good relationship with residents.
Since my mother moved in, she has been well cared for by caring, attentive
staff. I have been informed of at all times about her well-being and health and would not hesitate in recommending it to others.

Westbury Grange is a facility that offers residents and visitors a good experience. It's bright, modern, well run, fun and is how all care homes should be. With parents in care, I don't have to worry and importantly the visits are good. It's a welcoming place and the staff are great. I don't think there
are many places like it or that would achieve such good quality of standards. When they do music events you should see my mum singing. I will have to book my room in advance!

The staff made me feel welcome when I moved in, I have been allowed to make the room personal with furniture from home.
It's nice that I don't have to worry about cooking, cleaning and laundry now. Everything is taken care of for me.

During the time my mum has been in Westbury Grange the family has received total support and care from all the friendly staff. We have been able to voice any concerns and get a rapid, caring and positive response. My mum has flourished and feels safe in her environment, which is kept clean and tidy.
She is treated with dignity and best of all the staff really know and understand her. I feel totally happy to leave my mum in the care of this home with these lovely people. Thank you all.

My mother has been cared for at Westbury for end of life care and I cannot praise the staff and management here highly enough. Throughout her stay she was treated with compassion and respect. The carers and nursing staff were all very caring and you could tell they obviously cared for all the residents.
The food is very good and the building is maintained to a high standard by an excellent maintenance man. If ever there was a problem it was dealt with very quickly. I would definitely recommend this care home as one of the better ones in Milton Keynes.
